Second Chances

Stress--whether financial, relational, professional or otherwise--discreetly poisons the body. Despondency fogs the mind and shackles ambition. Appetites crave all the wrong copes, and a diminished will easily surrenders. This describes my personal descent.

I love America. I was born here. Raised here. And I intend to live out the rest of my life here. These days in America, love-of-country often gets conflated into accusations of racist nationalism. I don’t agree with that. Not all patriotic sentiments are tainted with racism or geo-narcissism.
