Halloween Martial Arts Action Cinema Volume 1
It is officially Samhain (Halloween) season. This time of year is filled with a variety of events. From haunted houses/corn mazes, costume parties, pumpkin patches, & zombie walks. October has no shortage of festive activities. However, one of the most enjoyable pastimes is during All Hallows' Eve. Especially if you're a cinephile. Is watching horror films/series. And over the past 2-3 decades. There has been no shortage of great horror selections. But what about those of us who are genuinely adamant fans of martial arts action cinema? What are the ideal spooky martial arts films to curate during Halloween movie season?

Everything happened so fast once Shinji had received the letter. Weeks of big changes had passed like a blur of moments. Relief of knowing they would not struggle with money ever again and carrying his mother around in celebration. His somewhat emotionless response at the funeral of the father he barely knew. Meetings with lawyers. And finally, moving himself and his mother into seperate apartments within his new company's headquater complex. However, this was only the start to how strange Shinji's life would soon become. As he sat at his office's decadent desk what looked like 3 Buddhist monks walked through the the ornate double doorway towards him.

Cassandra slept a restless sleep. Plagued with nightmares. Images of a creature with rows upon rows of teeth. The feeling of being crushed and water filling her lungs. Then she awoke. Drenched with sweat. Her supernaturally green eyes clouded with tears, long black hair slightly stuck to her face. The missing persons reports in her town were clearly weighing heavy on her mind. She stepped out of her seaside home and workshop and smelling the sea air calmed her. Out in the sea the moonlight illuminated the face of a shockingly handsome man. No. Not a man something horrible. Something Cassandra had seen in her nightmares. As soon as she thought to take a photo it was gone. Shaken and unsure of what she saw she went back inside, grabbed the largest knife from her kitchen drawer and fought sleep on the couch for as long as she could. She woke up. Kitchen knife on the floor. She had seen the creature in her sleep again. But this time it was calmer. Not a nightmare, just a dream. In it she saw a weapon, a hunting knife with brilliant silver blade. And with it she pierced the creature's heart. Cassandra decided it wasn't a dream afterall, it was a plan.

Shadow the Hegdehog Got a Trademark?
I can't believe it, October 8. (Yes, I know it's been a while) It was confirmed that Sega got a new trademark for my favorite red-and-black hedgehog shadow. I am so excited. But what can the trademark be for? Could it be for a new video game or a remake of the first in 2005? There wasn't much good feedback on it. But if there is one thing I do hope they use the trademark for, it is for an animated feature film.
