'Married at First Sight' Season 15: The Fan Favorite Couple

Usually, it takes a little longer for viewers to form an opinion about newlyweds on Married on First Sight. Season 15 of the popular reality show just started on July 6, 2022, but one couple has already been described as the frontrunners and fan favorites.

Out of the five couples from San Diego who got married, Lindy Elloway and Miguel Santiago seem already seems to be fan favorites based on what is posted on social media.

Lindy and Miguel showed an instant attraction for each other when they met for the first time at the altar. Fans of the show have already formed an opinion about the couple. Many believe the couple will more than likely stay married after the experiment is over in eight weeks.

About Lindy

Lindy is a 29-year-old physical therapy doctor from Olympia, Washington. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Western University of Health Sciences in 2018.

Even though she was raised as a Seventh Day Adventist and a regular churchgoer, Lindy said she has since moved away from that. However, she is still close to her family and views her parents' marriage as a model relationship.

The now married doctor was involved in two serious relationships in the past and was also engaged when she was younger. She has been single for the last two years. Lindy said she signed up for Married at First Sight because she is tired of the dating scene.

The moment Lindy walked down the aisle, she was thrilled to see Miguel waiting for her at the altar.

About Miguel

Miguel is a 35-year-old associate medical director. That means both Lindy and Miguel have careers in the medical field. Miguel is originally from Manhattan, New York, but he moved to Puerto Rico when he was 10 years old after his parents divorced.

Like Lindy, Miguel says he is tired of dating. He describes himself as a serial monogamist and is ready to find real love and settle down with a loving wife.

Miguel was happy to see Lindy when she walked down the aisle. That happiness lasted throughout the wedding ceremony and the reception. He learned a lot about his new wife. For instance, because of her upbringing, she never learned to dance. It was her first dance ever during their reception. Miguel was gentle with her. He helped her place her arms around him because she did not know what to do and where her arms and hands should go.

It did not take long before Lindy and Miguel bonded because they have a lot of things in common, such as their careers with flexible schedules. That's one of the reasons they were matched by the experts.

Even though the first impression of Lindy and Miguel is favorable, fans will have to see how things will go from now on. Lindy's brother questioned Miguel about religion. Because he has not determined a religion to follow might not be a problem for Lindy since she no longer follows the religion of her parents.

Miguel's friends have reservations about Lindy not liking Miguel's passion for Dungeons and Dragons. However, Lindy admitted that she was excited about Miguel's nerdy side and appreciated his passion for the tabletop roleplaying game. Before meeting Miguel and finding out she about his hobby, she had already told the experts that she was looking for a nerdy companion.

Will Lindy and Miguel Stay Married?

Viewers will have to tune in on Wednesdays on Lifetime to watch Lindy and Miguel's journey on Married at First Sight. Most people, including this writer, think the couple will stay married even though they might have to work through certain issues during the process just like the other four couples.
