Nicholas Sparks is the man that most people think of when they think of romantic movies these days. He's the powerhouse behind such movies as Dear John, Safe Haven, and, of course The Notebook. However, when he shared his favorite romantic movies with Rotten Tomatoes, none of his were on the list.

Genderbusters: Most Than a Ghost of a Chance
Ok, so filtering through all of the Ghostbusters rumors, was more work than I expected, especially with the Tatum/Pratt news leak, but nevertheless my search continued. As my searching progressed, I became more and more aggravated. Not with the ALL FEMALE CAST REBOOT but with the #ghostbustersgate nonsense.

Here are five times Roy Harper showed us his true heart.

Recommendation Challenge Day 2: My Cult Favorite
Fear is the mind-killer. - Paul Atreides. Dune. The movie based on the classic science fiction novel of the same name written by, Frank Herbert is a cult classic in my mind. Released in 1984, it was not met with the greatest of critical response, yet over time it grew to become one of the more popular cult sci-fi films of a generation. Fans of the movie are quite greatly polarized; some praise the movie for its scope, and others (the self-proclaimed purists) are critical of the creative licenses taken through the film.

Bourne to Leave a Legacy
See what I did there?! - I cleverly laced the movie title into my post title, eluding to a future for the movie. The truth is that I think that there could have been a better ending to Bourne: Legacy. Now, don't get me wrong, I thought this was a good addition to the story line of the Jason Bourne legend. We all knew that Matt Damon wasn't coming back for the fourth movie, and for better or worse we were going to live with it and see what happened.

10 Facts You May Not Know About Titanic
With the freak snowfall we had yesterday in my area, it was a shocking and ironic reminder that today is the 103rd anniversary of the the sinking of the S.S. Titanic. Trying to keep myself warm today, I thought that I would set my sights on a lighter topic and "celebrate" with some fun facts that you may not have known from the making of the blockbuster hit Titanic.
