New 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Images Tease Mutants of the Past
In the past week, there have been several releases of promotional footage for "X-Men: Apocalypse". Most of the footage has come in the form of minor screenshots from the film; mostly content that has already been previewed in the trailers. However, today a new batch of images has just released via Comicbook.com. And these images give us a look at some new mutants whom have been speculated to be a part of X-Men: Apocalypse, but can now be confirmed as definite additions to the already, vast cast in the film. Here are the images, and a brief breakdown of the significance behind these images.

What's Happening in the MCU After 'Captain America: Civil War'
Captain America: Civil War (2016) has yet to premiere in the United States, but early screenings have been the delight of many fans across the states. Some of the content within the film needs some explanation, as well as all the questions left unanswered after viewing Captain America: Civil War. If you don't want to know, then stop reading now. There isn't much of a review here, more of an analysis of new content within the film. But not to exaggerate, Captain America: Civil War is the best Marvel Cinematic feature to date. After watching every entry in the franchise since Iron Man (2008), I can say proudly that Captain America: Civil War (2016) is the best Marvel movie ever; probably the best comic-book movie ever. But to reiterate, if you don't want to know the Spoilers for the film, don't read any further. This post will delve into the source material for which the film is based upon, as well as the connectivity to future Marvel films.

Captain America Civil War: How would the X-Men weigh in
Captain America: Civil War is set to release in less than a months time. The internet is currently being bombarded with fan questions and theories, speculating on what motivation will drive the film. It's obvious that the film will focus on Captain America, but as to how the Civil War will conclude is up to debate. Another question on people's minds is how and where are the X-Men in all this? Yes, their property rights are currently under 20th Century Fox and Captain America: Civil War is packed with superheroes as it is, but where would the X-Men fit into the Civil War conflict if they were given the opportunity to appear? Their Marvel Comics' counterparts have members of the X-Men and other fellow mutants on opposing sides, just as members of the Avengers find themselves in Captain America: Civil War. It's not impossible to think that in the near future 20th Century Fox will come to an agreement with Disney and Marvel to share the properties of the X-Men, and fellow mutants. Fox is down to only having proprietary rights over the X-Men out of the Marvel franchise; the rights to Daredevil, Punisher, Ghost Rider, and Blade have all reverted back to Marvel and Disney which is leading toward the inevitability of the X-Men becoming a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If and when this agreement will be reached is still unknown, but it brings up an intriguing question as to how the X-Men would fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Were the X-Men to be brought into the MCU' as it's currently facing the fate of Captain America: Civil War, the mutants of the X-Men could have an interesting role in the MCU' just as their comic-book counterparts played crucial roles in the Civil War event as well.

The Superhero Movie We Deserve: Nickelodeon's Awesome Captain Planet
I grew up in the early 90s. My childhood was comprised of classic Nickelodeon, Captain Crunch and Saturday morning cartoons. One show that I was truly dedicated to watching was Captain Planet. I loved the "edutainment" that it brought, and even though I really had no idea what environmentalism actually meant, I remember it as being a highlight of my mornings.

Post Credit Scene for Season 4 'Once Upon a Time'
What we were left with: A lot of the time, season finales leave us with major cliffhangers, even more so than the movies that are angling for a sequel. It's to build the tension, leaving us with months to wait before we find out what is going to happen. When we left off with the Once Upon a Time group, they were watching as Emma got swept into the darkness, presumably to become The Dark One, leaving the dagger behind. While that is a big teaser itself, I feel like they could have gone with a post credit scene to take the tension one step further.
