I Am 54 Years Old, and Happily Married with a Four-Legged Hairy Daughter. Why Do I Still Watch WWE?
I will be 54 years old on January 14. Okay, I got a few days ahead of myself in the headline. Nonetheless, I certainly cannot be the only fairly intellectual college grad of my generation - with a B.A. degree in Special Education, and a minor in Abnormal Psychology - married without human children, who is still addicted to watching grown men bounce around in their underwear.

Into the Vampire's Nest
Eve’s P.O.V This was a terrible idea. Very terrible idea. Dean is going to murder me with his own bare hands. That is, if the vampires don't kill me first, which is a very likely outcome of tonight. The house is dead silent, its dark exterior giving off a dangerous vibe. I knew better. This was where they were nesting. I knew it—could feel it in my bones. I knew I should probably turn around and go back to the bunker, wait for Sam and Dean to come with me. I knew that was what I should do, but I couldn't make myself go. They had just come back from a previous hunt. This one hadn't been that easy and they took a few hard hits. They weren't ready for this hunt, but I was. I make my way towards the creepy house, my heart quickening with every step, my footfalls just a whisper against the gravel in the cool, dark night. I take out my lock pick and began unlocking the front door. I let the door swing open slowly while I stand back, in case there's something waiting behind it. I walk in through the door into an enormous foyer. There's a grand staircase that swirls to the top floor. The railings are solid gold, and a crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling. I make my way through the expensive lobby and head towards what seems to be a kitchen. I step into what looks like a master chef's kitchen. Beautiful, stainless steel appliances line the walls, along with many high quality pots and pans and kitchen utensils hanging from the ceilings. This was very unusual for a vampire den, seeing as they didn't eat human food; they only drank blood, usually from human victims.

Not a Lesson in Niceness: 6 Life Lessons We Learn from 'a Monster Calls'

Why The Valleyfolk Will Be the Biggest Thing on YouTube in 2018
It's often hard for a new channel to stick out on YouTube. YouTube's algorithm tends to cater to their bigger channels, so it's difficult for a new up and coming channel to find their footing. The Valleyfolk managed to buck that trend in a big way. Within the first 24 hours of their new channel, The Valleyfolk have over ninety-three thousand subscribers, made it to #4 on YouTube's trending page, and have almost 3,500 backers on their Patreon. So what is this channel and how did it become so successful so quickly?

Can’t Stop the Feeling: 4 Heart-Warming Movies to Watch After 'Trolls'
Anyone who has a kid or who is just a sucker for anything made by Dreamworks will have likely seen Trolls by now. At first, it seemed like another story where the sickeningly optimistic and positive Troll princess Poppy (Anna Kendrick) would get to save the day by showing everyone how happiness is inside all of us. Luckily, Trolls exceeded all of our expectations; it proves to be a truly magical treat. And even though the trolls only know how to sing and dance (and scrapbook), they use their gifts by singing timeless classics that blend perfectly with what they're doing.

Top 5 Directors I Am Looking Forward to in 2018
This week on the Everyone is a Critic podcast our Top 5 was "The Top 5 Movies We Are Looking Forward to in 2018." Naturally, such lists would include Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Black Panther, and the like, as any similar list might. With that in mind, and because I am the pretentious critic on the show, I decided I would leave the blockbusters off my list, though I look forward to them just as much as everyone else, and focus on directors whose work I am anticipating in 2018.
