Top 6 Musicals and Songs
Not everyone can sing great, nor can they act or perform. But whether or not you are a musical theater geek or a choral nerd, these songs are some of the best songs that non-Broadway fans are sure to love. Some musicals on this list might be off-Broadway now or they may be still performing on Broadway. The music from these musicals may also be some of the best works written by their composers.

Manga Spice Cafe: A Review
Anyone who's ever met me can tell you that I have a very geeky side to me that I rarely like to show to most people. I'm a big time fan of Japanese culture, food, and yes, manga artwork. In fact, my favorite movie of all time is Casshern.

How 'Runaways' Could Introduce The X-Men To the MCU...
Since its debut, Marvel's Runaways has steadily built in quality and popularity. While some have derided the show as "Dawson's MCU," others have enjoyed Buffy-esque vibe and interesting take on what it means to be a powered young person.

Imperial Dreams and Getting Lost in the Netflix Shuffle
Netflix, the DVD service turned streaming giant, has evolved and changed with the times. The company has stepped beyond its humble beginnings to become a significant player in the entertainment world. A huge part of the success of Netflix is the continued development of original content. From House of Cards to the Marvel series, Netflix has carved out a measure of success that rivals and, in some ways, surpasses the traditional cable channels. The company has become so large that it has entered the cultural lexicon via the famous phrase “Netflix and chill.” Recently, an opportunity to get some extended quality “Netflix and chill” time presented itself, and I gladly obliged.

The Disney Remake You Didn't Know You Wanted
That's right, A Goofy Movie. Before I get into the reasons why, let me explain my stance on Disney remakes first. I remember going to the theaters with my family and seeing my first Disney movie on the big screen, Aladdin, which is my favorite Disney movie of all time. When the announcement was made that Aladdin was going to be made into a live-action movie, I did an eye roll that rivaled Princess Jasmine’s. Over the past few years, Disney has been doing live-action remakes of their animated classics. I can’t help but wonder “who asked for this?” Not that movie studios have ever cared what we want as consumers to begin with. But with Disney, I can say they are responding to what the people are asking for.

Popular TV Shows with Terrible Final Seasons
When you think about the best TV series of all-time, they usually saved some of the best moments for the series finale and the final season. Shows like Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and The Wire are fondly remembered for their incredible final seasons that ended the show perfectly. On the other hand, there are great shows that had dumpster fire endings. Fans of shows like Lost and How I Met Your Mother are still bitter from the way those series ended. There are plenty of disappointing endings to choose from, but these are ten TV shows with terrible final seasons.

Best Anime Films of All Time
While some don't want to sit around watching subtitles flash consistently across the screen, anime makes for some of the greatest stories ever put on screen. Even more simply deplore the art of it in the first place. More accurately, anime movies just aren't appreciated in the same capacity as they may have been when we were kids. It's an acquired taste, one that is often ignored or under-appreciated (unless you're a kid, since a common misunderstanding lies in the fact that they're cartoons). Let's be clear, anime movies are not cartoons.

This Man Sits and Smiles for 4 Hours, but Why?
YouTube is a very strange place at times. I have spoken about off videos from the dark web in a previous article, but in all honesty, those videos pulled up from the depths can be found on YouTube along with all kinds of wondrous things that make the platform their permanent home. There are a lot of videos and channels that have cryptic names and seem to not really make a lick of sense. The channel I am going to talk about today though does exactly what it says on the tin.

'Lady Bird' Dominates with Four Awards from Iowa Film Critics Association
Lady Bird won most of the big awards from the Iowa Film Critics Association. The Iowa Film Critics, of which I am a voting member, made the announcement on Monday, following voting that began in late December. Greta Gerwig’s extraordinary directorial debut was honored with four awards while Willem Dafoe, Call Me By Your Name, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri each earned an award.

The Nonsensical 'Roseanne' Twist
Who is going to watch the new Trump-loving reboot of Roseanne? If I'm honest, the Trump-loving part lost me, but I may still give it a shot because why not? It's my job to keep up with pop culture, and the Will and Grace reboot also went heavy with the politics their first episode. There's another thing, though, that has me on the edge of my seat, story-wise. In the original finale, Dan is dead. He died. How in the world are they going to write around that?
