Movie Review: 'Love Simon'
Love Simon is remarkable for being not all that accomplished or remarkable. Don’t get me wrong, the film is lovely. It’s just lovely in the same way a middle of the road sitcom has graceful moments fitting of the medium. What’s remarkable is that we’ve finally reached an era where we can present young gay characters in movies without it having to carry the weight of a movement. Gay people deserve to be represented in as much middle of the road, sitcom entertainment as anyone else, and Love, Simon hits those notes perfectly.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ - Trailer Review
Wow. Just wow. I love a good trailer, but this takes the cake for excitement. Marvel have got us truly in the dark about the plotline of the film; yes we have the hint here and there but not enough to guess what will happen... WHICH IS GOOD! I’M LOOKING AT YOU, DC!

Movie Review: 'Tomb Raider'
Tomb Raider is one of those doomed video-game properties, destined to elude filmmakers in the way most video-games elude those who wish to turn them into movies. It’s the nature of the video game to elude anyone’s singular vision as what is a video game but a non-singular vision? Sure, the makers have a particular vision and their choices limit those of the players in many ways.

Is It Okay to Leave a Book Unfinished?
There are some books I have bought, read the back of it with a brief description and most likely read the first page or two, and I have not finished reading it once I actually got into it. I would try to force myself to finish reading it because I like a challenge and I have never hated a book so much that I just gave up on it. Instead what I tried to do was keep it on my bookshelf still marked where I left off and attempted to pick it up again but every time I looked at it, I'd think "Meh, I don't want to go down that road again".

Undressed to Kill
When reading Robert Rodi’s Codename: Knockout, it’s entirely forgiven were one initially reminded of Archer, FX Network’s long-running animated series, which also puts a comedic slant on the covert espionage genre. Both properties star highly-talented, reluctant special agents being molded by their respective parent figures. There are also similarities with respect to how Sterling Archer and Angela St. Grace handle their agent responsibilities with, well, total irresponsibility, yet still end up on top. If double-entendres like that are up your alley, you’re in for a ride.

Lazy or Brilliant
Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, King Arthur, and Luke Skywalker… what do all of these characters have in common? If you guessed silly sounding names, you are… half right. The other thing they have in common are dead parents. Yes, one or more of the parental figures that made these characters has met an untimely demise and it’s a storytelling trope that’s as old as written literature, but we can expand that since in many cases the death of the parental figure wasn’t exactly what it seemed to be; we'll call that the “Dead from a certain point of view” clause in order for this discussion to move forward.

'Finding Dory'
When it comes to PIXAR, they are the best at animation. That is a fact. Despite having some weak entries in the past years, their other movies are still held as one of the all time best. Now, I could argue that because of Toy Story 3, one shouldn’t be worried for The Incredibles 2 and because Brad Bird is returning to direct and write it, we should all be chill, but, fact is, after Toy Story 3, PIXAR took a gigantic hit. Their movies could not match the genius that Toy Story 3 or the previous films were. Now, InsideOut and Coco were strong and powerful movies. Coco was even, in my opinion, the strongest film PIXAR has done since Toy Story 3, but besides Coco and Inside Out, let’s look at other movies that PIXAR released after TS3.

Best Places to Buy Your Disney Merchandise!
Welcome all Disney nerds, fans, and nuts! As an avid Disney fan, I am constantly on the lookout for stores to shop for new and exciting Disney Merchandise. Clothes, home decor, collectables, you name it. I blow my paycheck on it. Every country and area may be different. I am in Canada and find a good selection. However the USA tends to carry WAY more cool Disney merchandise. I would love to know what places have the best stuff, where you like to find your gear, and if prices vary often.

Let’s Discuss... 'Arrow' Season 5’s Downfalls.
Now to make this clear from the beginning: I loved Arrow Season 5. Was it my favourite season? No. Season 2 will always take that top spot, but this season was up there. My own quarrel? It didn’t go as far as it could have.

Ross and His Son Ben
Love it or hate it, Friends was one cultural phenomenon that swept across the world with a "WOOPAH" (insert whipped sound effect). One could argue that the quality of jokes went south as the series progressed... perhaps you found yourself screaming, "Could this show BE any stupider?" when Joey proved himself too stupid to repeat a few French phrases or he thought he had become a millionaire by finding his hand twin. Or perhaps the cleverer, well thought out, hilarious plot line when Rachel and Phoebe were sure that "Mondler" did not "know that we know that they know that we know" left you in stitches. Love it or hate it, Friends will go down as one of the better-known sitcoms in history.
