Can You Write an Original Screenplay?
Does Syd Field's Paradigm help or hinder screenwriters in the creation of original work? Throughout the entire history of cinematography, the screenwriters accomplished delivering captivating, challenging and successful stories. At the beginning, screenwriters, unwillingly, created stories and clear narrative structure by using three acts or five-act structures that could be found in the Shakespearean plays. In 1979, the idea of a conventional three-act structure was officially created by Syd Field when he described it in his book The Foundation of Screenwriting. The Syd Field Paradigm was popular raised in Hollywood and it became the foundation of screenwriting for almost every film. His structure became a reliable pillar of fundamental knowledge when it comes to write a screenplay, and by doing so, through this book he encouraged many writers to follow it.

Why I Wouldn't Want to Live in the Harry Potter Universe
Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely loved the Harry Potter saga. I enjoyed each and every one of those seven books. Never will you find me denying the genius that is J.K. Rowling. She created a universe which almost everyone wishes existed. Hell, if I got my Hogwarts letter, I’d abandon everything I have and buy my ticket to the Hogwarts Express within two shakes of a Hippogriff’s tail. The impact that Harry Potter had on the entire planet was beyond anything people have ever experienced and probably ever will experience in this lifetime.

'The Saturday Evening Girls Club' Book Review
The Saturday Evening Girls Club by Jane Healey fulfills every girl's dream of having a close-knit group of friends to continuously depend on. This basic premise has been used for years as a young adult subgenre. From the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series to Pretty Little Liars on TV, people want those close friendships that can overcome anything. Healey gives this group dynamic to any reader willing to flip through her book and immerse themselves in her creation of Boston's North End. As the four girls grow into themselves and their dreams, they all take such different paths that anyone reading is bound to find some form of themselves inside one or more of the girls. Personally, Caprice's big dreams and drive to accomplish them remind me of much of my young life.

Is 'ACS: The Assassination of Gianni Versace' EXACTLY What the LGBT+ Community Needs Right Now?
Like many avid TV viewers, LGBT or not, I've been glued to American Crime Stories: The Assassination of Gianni Versace, starring the charismatic Darren Criss as serial killer Andrew Cunanan. Apart from being a compelling and sinister true crime series, the piece highlights a number of key issues for the gay community (the show primarily features gay men, mostly white gay men, so we're not likely to see any Trans issues or issues surrounding gay people of colour here). For example we see the trails of being a Gay man during the HIV/AIDS epidemic; how gay couples struggle to function in a world that denies them equality and frowns upon their "lifestyle," and the way the police treat crimes involving gay people.

Why Ben Affleck Is the Best Batman...So Far
Why Ben Affleck’s Batman might be the most important Batman EVER… I fully understand that the title of this piece alone is extremely devisive but hear me out. This is a Batman we have not seen on the big screen until now, and a lot of has to do with the creators giving Batman a universe in which to work. To better put that in perspective, let's first look at the versions of the caped crusader that have graced the theatres.
