The Doctor Is in: 10 Actors Who Could Play Morbius in the Upcoming Sony Film
It seems that Sony is creating their own film universe with all of the Spider-Man villains they still own, including Morbius, the Living Vampire. While he's an obscure villain, Sony apparently thinks he's well-known enough to give him his own feature film, and let him join the likes of Venom and Kraven the Hunter in what I would assume to be a connected universe. Even though very few people know who this character is, the right actor is still required for the role, and I have a few ideas on who could don the fangs of Morbius.

'Krypton' Episode 3: The Rankless Initiative
Oh wow…we are opening with a “Last time on Krypton…” recap. I hate recaps. I really do. Do we really have such short attention spans that we HAVE to have the major events from the last episode retold to us? Most of what we’re seeing now isn’t even from last episode, it’s from the pilot. They are recapping a recap. And the recap is almost two minutes long. Man if they keep up this ratio by episode ten, it's going to be a quarter of the run time.

Why Felicity Smoak Needs to Exit During 'Arrow' Season Six
Felicity Smoak. What a revelation. She came into Arrow’s first season and was only meant to appear in one episode, but thankfully she was loved so much that she has stayed on the show since. Not an easy feat.

Does anyone care about Nicholas Sparks? Yes. Apparently a lot of people do. Sparks is a 21-time published author. His stories have been adapted on screen in major motion pictures that have grossed well over $100 million in the box office, and his name is about as household as Stephen King's.

The Round Table of Writers
Among the well-known and prestigious hotels in New York City is The Algonquin Hotel. It is also famous for The Algonquin Round Table which was a group of writers who had a daily meeting spot at the hotel. WWI was over and Vanity Fair writers and those who frequented the hotel regularly like Dorothy Parker, Robert Benchley, and Robert E. Sherwood started lunching together. It was 1919 and they came together in the Rose Room along with some literary friends. It was a welcome back lunch for acerbic critic Alexander Woolcott who had served as a war correspondent.

Awake? This Is Why You Should Watch 'Atlanta'
As a newly awakened empath, I am extremely sensitive to the harsh violence and petty drama that comes along with watching TV and movies. However, I love watching consciously written movies and TV. For some reason, I am most attracted to dark comedies because they remind me of my most recent life which has been both comedic and sad, dark and light.

'Avengers: Infinity War'; Who Might Die?
Spoiler warning for all MCU films, up to and included Black Panther. The release of the third installment of the Marvel Avengers is fast approaching, and many of us fans are worried that our beloved superheroes might not make it out alive. We have reason to be worried too, with multiple actor contracts finishing at the end of Avengers 4, leaving us wondering who will survive for the films that follow.

Book Review: 'Pestilence' by Laura Thalassa
Let me start off this review by saying this book brought me out of a reading rut. I tried to stick to my posted TBR, I really did. I tried and tried and would get anywhere from two to 100 pages into a book before I'd toss it back on my TBR shelf, knowing it would be months before I finished it if I tried to keep chipping. I just wasn't in "the mood." It was honestly taking a toll on me, I see all these beautiful titles—both on my physical shelf and in my kindle app—being raved about on social media, piquing my interest, and yet they remain on the literal and metaphorical shelf. There are a few tricks in the book world to getting over the slump. Rereading a favorite, simply taking a break from reading, or browsing GoodReads's "if you loved this, you'll like this" section. All of them, quite frankly, made me huff in frustration. Then my lovely best friend said she'd just finished Pestilence, she raved about it, highly recommending it to me. This didn't come as a shock. We're both long-time fans of Laura and her husband Dan's work. I expressed to her my rut, but she still gave it another push, which is unusual.I waited. I did not want this potentially (okay, most likely) amazing book to be stained by the meh-ness of The Slump. But I kept coming back to its Amazon page and thought, "Is this...interest?" So, I swept up the book (along with a Kindle Unlimited trial because your girl is broke) and tentatively started reading. It was

🐓 'Blockers'—Movie Review
Blockers, for me, was always going to be one of those movies you saw advertised at the cinema and say "that looks pretty funny, I'll go and watch that," and then never do. The opportunity for me to actually go and watch it arose from a spontaneous day out with some friends recently.
