Worst 'Simpsons' Episodes Ever Made
The Simpsons is the longest-running cartoon show of all time, and is viewed as a slice of American pop culture. It’s the classic sitcom starring a hapless dad, a loving mom, and three kids. Everyone out there knows this show, and it’s even been spoofed by Rick and Morty.

Luna Lovegood: Potential to Go Dark Side?
Millions of Harry Potter fans have their own personal favourite character. Personally, mine is Luna Lovegood. As we all know, Luna is a Ravenclaw and she embodies all of what the House stands for. She's intelligent, creative, determined, and works hard in all aspects of her life. Even though she's picked on through most of her Hogwarts life just because she has a different way of looking at the world, she still stays true to herself and doesn't let their taunts change her. She also has her own unique way of looking at her life and everything and everyone around her. She understands what it's like to be the outsider, but she doesn't let it get in her way of what she strives for in life.

Why I'm Glad I Never Made It to Hollywood
When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be famous. Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe were my heroes. I loved the glitz and the glamor of it all. When I would sit down to watch the Academy Awards every year, I would always think about how wonderful and worry-free my life would be. I would make more money than most make in a single lifetime, which would mean that I would have a great house and I could take care of my family. I would get dressed up in beautiful clothes and wear the best make up money could buy. EVERYONE would love me. Life couldn't get any better than this? Right?.... Now that I am older and a lot less naïve, I have come to realize that this lifestyle has its perks, no question about that; but as soon as I started to discover the dark side of Hollywood, this is why I pray that I will never make it to Tinsel town.

My MoviePass Review
The MoviePass program was first brought to my attention by my daughter. She told me it was something that her father and I might want to check out. We do enjoy going to the movies, so I took her advice. I did some online research and found that the MoviePass Company was founded in 2011. Apparently, it has been around for a while, so I was surprised I had not heard of this service before. I read some reviews about the program and found a mixed bag of reviews. Some individuals have found MoviePass to be an inexpensive way to see movies while others had complained about the service. The complaints were from people who claimed they had never received their passes or they had problems using the pass once they arrived at the theater. Being an optimist, I decided to take a gamble and go with the positive reviews. I went to their website and ordered two passes at $9.95 each.

Stupid Things in "War for the Planet of the Apes" EVERYONE just ignored PART I
On July 14, 2017, War For the Planet of the Apes was released in theaters everywhere, earning over $490 million at the box office. The movie was a summer hit and was even nominated for an academy award for "Best Visual Effects" but unfortunately did not win.

The Real Jane Austen
So, we’ve all heard of the popular "Jane-ites"—women and men who celebrate Austen as much as the famous "Twi-Hard" fans of 2008. They dress in early nineteenth century fashions, they attend regency balls and dances, and some even know all of Jane’s books by heart. Of course, this is a pretty extreme passion for Jane Austen, but it does make a very clear statement about how truly popular our lady is. Although she hasn’t been around for just over 200 years, somehow her quirky satirical writing still resonates with us today.

Movie Review: 'Midnight Sun'
As a much younger and more rash critic, I created a nasty, dismissive shorthand for movies that centered on teenage girl characters who die of vaguely familiar diseases slowly enough to have a literally once in a lifetime love affair. I referred to these movies as "Dead Ingenue Movies." I coined the term in my admittedly nasty review of 2003’s A Walk to Remember.

'Knights of Sidonia': Review
So I came into Knights of Sidonia thinking that the anime has finished. Yet there is speculation that a season three may appear. Whatever the chance of that maybe happening, I am writing this review on seasons one and two. And if season three does come out, I will do a follow up review on that as well, but for now let’s focus on what is here on the Netflix Original anime Knights of Sidonia.

Ranking the Movies of 2018: Week 13
Seemingly every year since the invention of internet-based film criticism and social media, a horror movie comes along and is met with praise befitting a game-changing work of art. Rarely is the movie in question worthy of such hype but it happens regardless. This year it is A Quiet Place, John Krasinski’s outstanding post-apocalyptic, family in danger thriller. A Quiet Place is a very good movie but it must be said that it is no ‘game changer.’

Ron Weasley vs Ron Weasley
A good friend of mine recently sent me her essay to read, and I found it phenomenal. An in-depth look at how easily a character's growth and personality can be erased in the process of adapting a book to film, the essay truly highlighted the issue using an infamous series popular to our generation. After obtaining permission from my friend, I bring you this wonderful piece.
