Kids These Days Will Never Know: Part Two
I hope you liked part one of the list of things I've experienced and had as a child that kids today never knew about. Now, I'll be sharing part two of the things I loved in the 80s and 90s. Again, the list will be broken down into four parts in no particular order, so it'll be a total of 20 items.

'Never Let Me Go': The Cloning of Humanity
The first time I had ever heard of the film Never Let Me Go it was sometime around 2011 or 2012. I was searching for something to watch on Netflix and I had come across it. I was once told by a friend that it was so incredibly sad that she had to stop watching it. I took on the challenge to see if I could get through it, despite it being described as disturbing and sad.

Stopping By Stars Hollow: A Critic’s First Watch of 'Gilmore Girls' - Season 1, Episode 7
I’m a gardening machine. The greatest gardener that ever did live. I can pull weeds in a blink of an eye, plant a butterfly bush in a moment's notice, and weave a delicate vine through a trellis in an instant. I can do all this and more because I am… still unemployed!

The Downfall of Daenerys Targaryen
Game of Thrones is one of the most amazing TV shows I've seen, and it's one of my favorites. One of the reasons the show intrigued me in the first place is because Game of Thrones doesn't necessarily have a censoring moral compass. It shows characters for who they are and doesn't shy away from problematic or controversial aspects.

Why It's Okay to Judge a Book by Its Cover
We've all grown up being told not to judge a book by its cover. This, of course, is meant to be taken both literally and metaphorically. Don't judge a book by its cover, because even if it has an ugly cover, it might be the best book you've ever read. Don't judge a person by how they look, but rather by their personality.

Ross Geller from ‘Friends’ & Why He’s Not That Bad
One of the most popular television shows in recent years was the hit sitcom, Friends, which was about six young adult friends living in the same apartment complex following them as they face life and love in New York. Now, all these characters have their issues but they all make up for them. One ‘Friend’ in particular that gets the most hate would be Ross Geller, brother of Monica. Just like the rest of the friend’s, Ross is quirky, which makes for good TV. The hate for this character comes from a few places. Addressing the most prominent issues fans & viewers have: "Ross is a bad person," "Ross thinks he’s superior to everyone," & "Ross is too jealous of a person." Of course, Ross has his downfalls, being the most problematic ‘Friend’, no doubt. But fans and just plain viewers of the show crush this character to the point where it’s just too much to handle.

'Stick It' Is Secretly the Greatest Sports Movie of All Time
In 2006, the greatest sports movie of all time was released. It was inspirational like Rudy, was funny and feminist like A League of Their Own, had heart like Hoosiers, and was ultimately about dads, like all great movies. It's also a movie Roger Ebert called "the story of a gymnast's comeback attempt as a backdrop for overwrought visual effects, music videos, sitcom dialogue, and general pandering."

'Solomon Kane': Netflix Lied to Me
Whilst I was perusing Netflix the other day, I came across this little flick. Written and directed by Michael J. Bassett, Solomon Kane is one of the most passable movies I have ever seen in my life. It is almost like eating a dollar store meatloaf. It is overall really bland and unpleasant, but it's got enough salt in it to give it at least a little bit of flavor. If you are wanting to go into this to find a hidden gem of 2009, you are going to be sorely disappointed.

10 Times Celebrities Hated Their Biopics. Top Story - May 2018.
Some will never agree with the way they are portrayed in a film and will go to any extent to prove their anger. In some cases, it's difficult for the actor to conform to their character's morality and behavior. More often than not, the telling of a life story on film only spawns more stories.
