Stopping by Stars Hollow: A Critic’s First Watch of 'Gilmore Girls' - Season 1, Episode 11
My entire body is sore. I’ve burnt myself, cut myself, stabbed myself… all forms of accidental body harm have occurred to me this past week. All I want to do is crawl under a blanket and binge watch crud all day while shoveling pizza bites into my gaping maw.

From Kings to Queens: 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 10, Episode 10
Hello everyone! Let me just start off with a super quick aside. Yes, I know that Season 10 of RuPaul's Drag Race is more than halfway over. In my defense, I just learned about this platform, so if I would've known about it during the premiere of Season 10, you bet your padded behind I would've started these reviews right out of the gate. You also may be asking yourself "But Parker, there are already dozens and dozens of RuPaul's Drag Race reviews; why do you need to do one too?" To that I say, it's the summertime, I'm really bored, I need a creative outlet to keep me busy and I really love RuPaul's Drag Race. Since there are so many reviews of the show, I definitely do want to thank you, the one who chose to read this for some reason, for taking the time to read my specific ramblings about a show that features men (and gender nonspecific people) dressing up as beautiful glamazon women. I honestly truly appreciate it. Now that that's out of the way, let's get into this week's episode!

'Avanti!'
After watching Billy Wilder’s wonderfully sublime late period romantic comedy Avanti, I felt as if I just escaped to a wonderful paradise and left the worries of the world behind. That’s part of what magical Hollywood film making can do to us, they can lift us onto a different plain into a fantasy we sometimes hesitate to leave, even after the credits roll. I felt this way after watching Avanti. I was soaked into the wonderful world of Italy, humming the lovely theme music to myself afterwards, and having the kind of contentment only the best movies can put you in.

Stopping by Stars Hollow: A Critic’s First Watch of 'Gilmore Girls' - Season 1, Episode 10
Here’s a fun little plug to start off this review. A lovely friend of mine, Val, will be launching a new media review website called They Have Thoughts on June 1. Yours truly has been asked to be a main contributor on the project so go check it out if you want to see more in-depth entertainment critiques from writers of various artistic backgrounds. We’re all very opinionated, very verbose, and very, very blunt.

All the Ways I Relate to Squidward Tentacles as an Adult
I grew up watching the beloved cartoon series Spongebob Squarepants. I think most young adults who watched the show can agree that when they were a kid, Spongebob Squarepants was their spirit animal, or more specifically, their spirit sea sponge. At the same time, they also felt Squidward Tentacles was the grumpy next door neighbor who ruined all the fun. Re-watching the show in my 20s, I realize a lot has changed and, in fact, Squidward is a perfect representation of my confusing young adult life.

What's Next for the MCU After 'Infinity War?'
MAJOR SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS 4, AND SPOILERS FOR THE MCU IN GENERAL! Avengers: Infinity War is the culmination of ten years of Marvel's cinematic universe which started all the way back in 2008 with Iron Man. The character of Thanos was first teased back in 2012 with the release of the original Avengers movie so Marvel and the directors of Infinity War, Joe and Anthony Russo, knew they had some big shoes to fill in terms of making a villain who had been teased for six years feel complex and like a genuine threat, something the MCU has struggled with in the past. If you've seen the movie, then you'll know that Thanos is undoubtedly one of, if not the best villain Marvel has brought to the big screen, with him collecting all six infinity stones and wiping out half of the universe by the end of the film. So, in this article, I will try to predict what we can expect from the MCU going forward as well as some things I would personally like to see happen in future movies, most notably Avengers 4.

King of the Green: 10 Actors Who Could Star in 'Swamp Thing'
DC Comics is launching an online streaming service in order to air their own exclusive content, and they have recently announced that a live-action Swamp Thing show will be a part of the line-up. Swamp Thing is one of the most popular characters in DC Comics lore, yet the role hasn't been executed correctly. I feel that I know a few actors who could not only be a good Swamp Thing, but a good Alec Holland as well, and I hope you agree with my list.

Have you ever watched a couch burn? My friends and I burn furniture for fun and I highly recommend you try it. Just, ya know, do it safely. We don’t want to anger Smokey the Bear.

A Force for Good Despite Itself: 4 Reasons Why the Bond Franchise Is Far from Inherently Sexist
With several of societies prominent figures finally called out on their sexist behaviour, it's not exactly a surprise that heavier attention has also been directed at pop culture's resident "sexist-misogynist-dinosaur"—Bond. And, well, whether it's 007's "kiss her until she likes it" flirting technique from Goldfinger or any other problematic moment in the franchise's long and varied history, there certainly isn't a shortage of material for anyone looking to make a case-and-point argument on why the Bond franchise is inherently sexist (or even why it needs to end because of it).
