5 Amazing Online Tools for D&D Enthusiasts
Dungeons and Dragons (which I'm shortening to D&D from here on in) has been around for decades, ever since Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson published their original box in 1974. Back then, it was all pen to paper - MAYBE you had a handheld calculator to handle the numbers. But it's the Digital Age now, and there are tools out there to make all aspects of D&D easier for players and dungeon masters (DMs) alike. Here are 5 that I've checked out since I started playing.

Classic Movie Review: 'Little Shop of Horrors'
Let me start off this review with a confession: I love musicals. It is my preferred genre. I always enjoy a good musical. Throughout my life, I have been exposed to films of the genre. But this review will focus on the film that made me become invested in film musicals: Little Shop of Horrors. Released in December of 1986 and directed by Muppet performer Frank Oz, like most musical films, it is an adaptation of the hit stage production of the same name. But will this film be as beloved as when I first watched it, or will it end up on the pile of B-Movie shlock left behind by the 80's? Let's find out.

Movie Review: 'Hotel Artemis'
Hotel Artemis stars Jodie Foster as Nurse and Dave Bautista as Orderly. These are code names as the Hotel Artemis is not quite a hotel but not exactly a hospital either. The year is 2028 and Los Angeles has devolved into chaos. The economy is collapsing and crime has become the the city's top employer. Among this chaos the Hotel Artemis was born as a place of myth where criminals with a membership can get no questions asked treatment for a variety of injuries.

Cosplay Mashups
Whenever I'm on Facebook or Instagram, I love it when cosplayers have creative minds. In the almost four years that I've been doing cosplay, I've only done two cosplay mashups. I'll get to that shortly, but you must be wondering why cosplay mashups are popular. I'll give you one reason: they're a way to display your creativity to everyone. Most cosplayers spend hundreds of dollars and months to create the perfect cosplay. With that said, I'll now be sharing both of my cosplay mashups. I have written stories about DIYs and step-by-step instructions of both Zombie Mario and Punk Rock Superman, which you can check out right now.

Movie Review: 'Upgrade'
Upgrade stars Logan Marshall Green as Grey, a normal man in a not so normal time. It’s somewhere in the near future and while Grey enjoys an analog existence working on cars, the rest of the world is digital, including the car his wife rides in without an actual driver. Grey is dubious of modern, convenient tech and soon he will have good reason to be dubious. After selling an old car to a billionaire, Grey and his wife are in a car accident in her supposedly accident proof vehicle.

'THUG'
After reading multitudes of novels, I never enjoyed contemporary or romance as it is continuously repetitive. When my book club chose The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas as the book of the month, I was disappointed. It did not seem interesting to me in the slightest.

The Importance of Time-Displacement
Everybody knows that comic book universes and timelines are very very confusing and likely deter people that want to read comics from actually reading them. Because of that, people complain a lot about the timelines. In response to that, comic companies launch reboots (events that are done to provide a dedicated jumping off point for new fans), but they tend to mess them up horribly, and comic fans get even more angry because of that. A fine example is DC's New 52 relaunch, where the timelines got confusing in the original DC Landscape, which unsurprisingly led to fans and people interested in comics complaining to DC. DC wiped the entire slate clean and started from scratch with New 52. They created new backstories for characters and even changed some key traits about them. But more importantly, at its introduction, the New 52 timeline was just as confusing as the pre-New 52 timeline even though it had just been introduced, and it only got worse. As a result, sales started to fall. DC Comics tends to do harder reboots, they'll wipe their entire slate clean and create new backstories for their characters, maybe even change the character completely. Marvel doesn't like doing that.

Top Movies Not to Watch If You Fear What Is Lurking Beneath the Water
Have you ever wondered if there are teeth swimming around your feet and legs below the water? Maybe there is something darker staring up at you that you can not see. Something that is just waiting for the right opportunity to reach up and pull you down. Maybe there are cities full of unknown beings or creatures right below the spot where you are floating.

'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child:' Book Review
It’s been nineteen years since the Battle of Hogwarts. Harry Potter is Head of Magical Law Enforcement, husband to Ginny Weasley, and father to three children: Lily, James, and Albus. Life should be easy for the Chosen One, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The Ministry is up to their eyeballs in paperwork, nasty rumors are flying around about a specific magical object, and middle child Albus starts to realize being the child of Harry Potter isn’t all fun and games. This is especially as Albus is sorted into Slytherin and befriends Scorpius, son of Draco Malfoy.
