Be a Paul Newman
Throughout the years, Hollywood has always been the hub for glamour, wealth, romance, talent and in some cases failure. But in recent years, all those points have been eclipsed with scandal after scandal. The allegations against Harvey Weinstein, Woody Allen and Roman Polanski to name a few, have dominated the column inches coming out of Hollywood, but so has the reaction. With the Time’s Up movement, which has garnered both praise and criticism, why does the modern movie world struggle to break through? What is forcing the public to lose trust in Tinsel Town?

The Different Types of Nonfiction
The first thing people think of when nonfiction is mentioned is probably a biography, or maybe that textbook you spent 300 bucks on and have opened exactly twice. Neither of these things makes me excited for even the possibility of cracking open a nonfiction book, and in my heart, I'm a little bitter about it.

Supergirl's Season 4 Premiere Sets a Political Tone with a Hot Button Issue
Supergirl's Season 4 premiere, American Alien, has earned glowing reviews from IGN, TVLine, and Den of Geek to name a few, but as Den of Geek mentioned, there are still clear political messages peppered throughout the episodes—messages not every viewer wants to watch.

'Pop Punk High'
Robert Massimi. Pop Punk High is a fun musical at La Poisson Rouge in the West Village. The show is based on a school where music and skate boarding is king. The shows nexus is a geek who wants to date the hot chick named Amanda Bunkface (Jess Kaliban), who barely knows his name until a dead Avril Lavigne (Kelly Krauter), grants him three wishes. Skeet (Patrick Sweeney) becomes a different person. He beats his arch rival Derek in skate boarding, music, you name it. He is changing by the second and he has no time for loyal Tib, who stood by him no matter how desperate his situation became. Pop Punk High is an R Rated School of Rock, it's up there with Fast Times at Ridgemont High. What Pop Punk adds is a lot of music, good songs sung by a young talented cast. We see humor in this musical, especially by Skeet and his parents. His dad (Eric Wiegand) was a tremendous dancer and shed humor on this already raucous show. Mom (Mclean Peterson) was equally wonderful in her role, her comedic timing was flawless.

'Venom' Fails to Merge
Venom features journalist Eddie Brock being merged with an alien parasite known as, well, Venom. In the movie, Brock is one of the few humans who is able to successfully bond with the symbiote but unfortunately, the movie lacks any successful connection with itself. Venom, most known as a villain of Spider-Man, can only be described as mediocre and generic.

I’m a big fan of Kristen a Wiig here, I’m not going to lie I have all her movies on DVD. I may seem biased...yes. Sometimes. BUT these are some GOOD movies that I’m glad to have witnessed in my lifetime and I think they're worth a watch!

Not the Ending I Expected
Spoiler Warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. How could something so cute and adorable be a damn evil? I am in shock to find out at the last episode of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic that the character named Cozy Glow (a young pegasi filly that is based off of the legendary child actress Sherley Temple, you could see it with the hair and facial expressions) is a villain I didn’t want to believe it at first when the character introduced the first time in season eight, episode 12 “Marks for Effort” when the Cutie Mark Crusaders help Cozy glow with her friendship homework. I saw in Cozy Glow had Twilight's cutie mark in her eyes, but I ignored it. Then I notice she was appearing way too lovely and always looking to be sticking her damn nose where it didn’t belong to mention she is pushy with the other creature characters telling them that no matter what they do every pony will see them as a creature to fear. I didn’t understand why she thought friendship was the power that she needed to have to dominate all of Equestria.
