Jax Taylor is set to leave the in-patient treatment center he entered in late July.

The statement also noted, “It’s been an emotional month for him, and he’s most looking forward to spending time with his son.” Taylor shares his 3-year-old son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, with his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.

On July 30, it was reported that the 45-year-old reality star had entered a mental health facility.

After returning home, Taylor will resume filming "The Valley", which began production on its second season earlier this summer, according to TMZ. The outlet also mentioned that Taylor plans to discuss his time in treatment when he feels ready, promising an emotional new season.

"Jax has always been open about his struggles with mental health, especially in recent months on his podcast. He decided to seek in-patient treatment to focus on his well-being,” a representative for the "Vanderpump Rules" alum told when he first entered treatment.

“This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family, and they ask for privacy and respect until he’s ready to share more,” the statement concluded. TMZ was the first to report the news on July 30.

Taylor’s decision to seek treatment comes amidst his separation from Brittany Cartwright. The couple announced their split in February after four years of marriage.

Cartwright shared the news on their joint podcast, "When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany", explaining that she “decided to move into another home to take some space for the sake of [her] mental health."

The couple first met in 2015, and their relationship has been documented on "Vanderpump Rules", their spinoff "Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky", and most recently "The Valley". They married on June 29, 2019, and welcomed their son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, on April 12, 2021.

News of their separation emerged just before the premiere of "The Valley" earlier in February. Cartwright told that she felt "a little bit of relief" after the split, adding that she "needed this space."
