Inside Survivor Series War Games 2025: The Matches That Will Define WWE’s Year-End by NWO Sparrow
Im back forecasting decisive victories and standout performances on a stacked card

Survivor Series War Games Predictions San Diego , November 29th

Survivor Series has always been one of WWE’s most fun events, and this year continues that trend even with my mixed feelings about War Games as a concept. I have enjoyed the build for both the men's and women's matches, but the excitement does not fully match the energy this match structure once brought. War Games feels more impactful when the rivalry calls for a locked cage, not when it appears every year out of routine. Still, the talent involved this time adds real weight, and that alone boosts my interest to a solid six- seven out of ten. (see what i did there haha)
This event does carry strong momentum due to the names on the card. WWE packed the show with legends, rising headliners, and powerful storytellers. The mix of eras and styles creates something special for San Diego. There is also a nostalgic layer added by the presence of John Cena, whose retirement tour is closing in on its final chapter. This helps the entire night feel bigger, almost like a celebration of past and present. Next Saturday will deliver intensity, closure, chaos, and the possible start of new journeys. The stakes feel personal for many of the competitors, and even if the War Games format has lost some of its spark, the performers involved will do everything they can to make this show stand out. And in case anyone forgot, I went 5-0 for Saturday Night Main Event. I am still that guy in the prediction world with a clean record, the receipts, and the keys. Here is my breakdown for Survivor Series.
Men's War Games Match

CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, The Usos, and Roman Reigns vs The Vision, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar
This match is star filled and brings together an interesting mix of elite names, established threats, and rising forces. The build has been solid even though the story has stretched out since WrestleMania with twists that carried on longer than needed. I hope this chapter ends here so the collision between the original Bloodline and The Vision can finally settle. That would give Jey Uso room to begin new rivalries and regain momentum in singles action. CM Punk will still have business with The Vision . He still has unfinished issues with Breakker, Rollins, and others tied to that faction. Because of that, Punk will likely continue to pursue that story after the cage lowers. As for the Bloodline, this feels like the perfect moment for their collective involvement in this rivalry to wind down so each member can move in separate directions.
I predict that The Vision wins this match, with Bron Breakker emerging as the standout. His rise has been deliberate, and this moment would push him into a powerful villain role heading toward WrestleMania 42. Winning inside War Games will elevate him instantly and signal that WWE is ready to build him into something huge.
Women's War Games Match

Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee vs Nia Jax, Lash Legend, The Kabuki Warriors, and Becky Lynch
This lineup is fresh and full of creative potential. The additions of Becky Lynch and AJ Lee instantly raised the anticipation surrounding the match. The build has been fun and unpredictable, and the moving pieces create a complicated pattern that is not simple to untangle. Everyone in the match has multiple story options once the cage is gone, which makes choosing a winner feel difficult.
Becky and AJ Lee clearly have a rivalry that will continue after this night. Charlotte and Alexa also appear destined to chase their tag team goals again. That leaves Iyo, Rhea, Nia, and Lash Legend to sort out their positions going forward. With so many possible outcomes, picking the winner becomes a strategic choice more than a storyline one. I am predicting Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee, because choosing stability in a crowded picture usually works during Survivor Series season. That team has the strongest blend of experience and chemistry. Their victory would also keep several future programs alive without creating any unnecessary resets.
John Cena vs Dominik Mysterio Intercontinental Championship

This match carries emotional weight since it marks John Cena's second to last match of his career. The build was short, but they made the rivalry work because of the significance behind Cena’s current run. The story functions because fans know the clock is winding down. That energy boosted Dominik too, since sharing a spotlight with Cena is an achievement on its own.
Cena entering Survivor Series with a championship puts meaning behind the remaining stops on his farewell tour. It gives him something to defend, something to showcase, and something he can bring to Saturday Night Main Event when he faces the winner of the Last Time Is Now tournament. Dominik would gain nothing from winning the belt back here and it would make Cena's previous win feel empty. I predict John Cena wins, keeps the Intercontinental Championship, and carries it into the final stretch of his legendary journey. Dominik will still gain more attention from the rivalry even without the belt.
Stephanie Vaquer vs Nikki Bella Women's World Heavyweight Championship

This rivalry worked as a cool but predictable introduction for Nikki Bella’s return to the championship scene. The predictable part comes from Bella still carrying that classic 2010 delivery. She speaks directly to the camera while addressing her opponent, which makes her approach feel scripted. Even with that, the build provided Vaquer with a strong and credible challenger to face during her reign. Vaquer has grown into her title run with confidence and control. Opponents like Bella give her a chance to work with someone well known and keep her title picture active. Nikki does not need a championship right now. A victory here would slow the pace of the division and create friction with newer stars who are climbing toward the top.
I predict Stephanie Vaquer retains, continues her impressive run, and closes 2025 as champion. Her momentum is too valuable to break and her reign still has room to grow.
Even with my reservations about the yearly War Games format, the talent on this card is strong enough to create a standout show. The collection of returning icons, current leaders, and fresh contenders gives each match a sense of purpose. The men’s match feels like the final page of a very long chapter, while the women’s match feels like the first step in several future rivalries. Cena’s farewell run adds heart to the event and Vaquer’s title defense brings stability to a division that continues to evolve. Every match feels meaningful in a different way.
Whether War Games returns next year or takes a break, this version has enough story and emotion to satisfy viewers who want intense action and narrative movement. Survivor Series is often where new stories bloom and old ones settle. Next Saturday will continue that tradition.
