Leo Stark is back on Days of Our Lives

Spoilers for Days of Our Lives have just revealed that Greg Rikaart will return to the NBC soap next week as the controversial Leo Stark. The actor originated the over-the-top character in 2018 and fans have mixed emotions about him. While some who watch the NBC soap are excited that Rikaart is back others say they dislike Leo because he is crude, rude, and disgusting.

Perhaps the attitude that was displayed by Billy Flynn (Chad MiMera) in a video says it best. A recent DAYS promo has a scene where Chad happily greeted Chandler Massey (Will Horton) and Zach Tinker (Sonny Kiriakas) and the camera shows Greg's character as “Leo Stark,” Flynn flatly states, “Hey, you can like the guy, “I think he’s a tool.” Leo has caused a lot of heartache and pain in Salem and now he is back for more.

Although he was not a regular cast member on DOOL at the time Rikaart's character was in the Peacock Streaming service original films Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem and Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas. There is not yet any news related to what Stark will be up to this time around but Days viewers know that whenever Stark is around there will be a lot of drama.

The Young and the Restless fans have questions

Fans of Rikaart's character on The Young and the Restless have been questioning why no storyline has been developed for Kevin Fisher. His wife Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is basically shown at work and viewers never see their two children. The last few times Kevin was on screen he and Chloe were eating out with his brother Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and sister-in-law Lauren Fenmore Baldwin.

Y&R fans have been complaining for several years that they desire to see popular characters have front burner storylines but for whatever reason Kevin is basically non-existent. he was on hand about a month ago as Michael contemplated whether he would retire as DA and that's the last anyone has seen of him.

Y&R fans want to see more of Kevin and Chloe.

Greg Rikaart: Keeping up with him

Rikaart was one of the first soap stars in 2020 to announce that he had COVID-19 but he eventually bounced back from the illness. The actor received six nominations for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Y&R and won once in 2005. In addition to the soaps, Greg has had a number of appearances on television series, and the following are some of them.

In 1999 the actor was in Felicity and, in 2000 he had roles in Grounded for Lie, Gilmore Girls, and Strong Medicine. From 2002-2003 he appeared in 7 episodes of Dawson's Creek In 2003 he had roles in Fake Stacy, X2, and Prey for Rock and Roll and began portraying Kevin on The Young and the Restless.

Rikaart appeared in Wannabe and The Closer in 2005, CSI Miami in 2006, Imaginary Bitches in 2008, and the film short Seeds in 2009. Bones and Four Brothers came in 2013 and Major Crime in 2015. The actor was let go by The Young and the Restless in 2013 but returned in 2017.

Rikaart began his contract role as Leo in 2018 and in 2020 was placed on recurring status. He seems to be on an as-needed basis on Y&R and this has troubled his followers. Be on the lookout for updates related to what happens next for Greg Rikaart's characters Kevin Fisher on The Young and the Restless and Leo Stark on Days of Our Lives.
