General Hospital Updates: Ryan Paevey dishes about his new character, and Judge Eva Heran might be in serious trouble
A new character is coming to Port Charles and the judge could be the body found in the water.

Who will Ryan Paevey portray?
General Hospital fans are wondering whether Ryan Paevey will return on contract or recurring status as Nathan West now have an answer. The actor recently revealed that he will portray a new character, but did not give details.
This is good news for GH viewers concerned about the number of characters returning from the dead. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) survived the hook attack, so it was only natural that fans wondered if Liesel Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) would have both of her children back from the great beyond.
When Paevey left General Hospital in 2019, he began appearing in Hallmark movies. Two years ago, he said he was done with Hollywood because promises about roles were not kept. He said he was going to work in his brother's store, but he began his own business. During that time, he also cared for his mother, who eventually died from cancer.
Spoilers have suggested that Ryan may somehow be involved with the WSB or working with whoever is behind Professor Henry Dalton's (Daniel Goddard) research.
GH welcomes back former cast members
It's even been suggested that Paevey's new character might be the body that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Danny Morgan (Anton Antonyzin) find in the water but Paevey's episodes won't be airing until September. It's unknown whether the actor will have a long-term or short-term contract.
Ryan Paevey won't be the first GH cast member to leave and return when things don't work out. Executive producer Frank Valentini welcomed back Dominic Zampragna (Dante Falconeri), who said he did not find other roles as he had assumed he would. Thiebaud also left for greener pastures, but after Station 19 was canceled, she came back to GH.
Is Judge Heron the body in the lake?
General Hospital spoilers now suggest that the body in the lake could be Judge Eva Heran (Tess Auberjonois). She accepted a one-million-dollar bribe from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to give Michael Corinthos ( Rory Gibson) full custody of his children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Mack).
Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) became impatient and told this news to Drew Cain ( Cameron Mathison), who tried to blackmail Michael into giving full custody of the children to Willow Corinthos (KateLynn MacMullen) or go to jail.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) assured his son that he did not bribe the judge but wants to talk to her. Meanwhile, Sidwell told Marco that they had to get to Judge Heran before Sonny. He might have her murdered to keep her quiet and still use the bribe money to get Sonny to hand over his piers.
Between Sidwell and Drew Cain, Sonny could be set up for bribery and murder unless there is an attempt on Drew's life that interferes with the plan. Jenz told Marco that Drew was a loose cannon and needed to be dealt with.
A turning point in the storyline
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Martin Grey (Michael E Knight), and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) have all made it known that they are angry at the Congressman, so one of them might make an attempt on his life, which would stop him from implicating Sonny, so the plot thickens. If Judge Heron dies, this will be a turning point in the storyline.
Tune in to learn whose body is in the water at the docks and whether they are dead or alive. Will it be Drew, Judge Heron, or someone else? General Hospital viewers should also be on the lookout for updates, spoilers, and breaking news related to the character Paevey will portray and how he fits into Port Charles life.
