General Hospital Update: Joss must difuse the tension between Britt and Carly

General Hospital fans will enjoy a three-way confrontation on the Monday, October 6 episode. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have an interesting encounter at Bobbie's.

Joss returns to Port Charles from her WSB adventures and catches up with mom at the diner that formerly was known as Kelly's.. Josslyn will be sitting at the counter when Britt comes downstairs. The WSB agent will be stunned because she had no idea that Dr. Westbourne was staying upstairs in Jason Morgan's (Steve Burton) old room.

Britt calls Joss by name and a game of cat and mouse ensues. Britt says it's lovely to Ms. Jacks again, as if they did not have the Croatian adventure. Josslyn will become nervous and pretend she thought that Britt died saving her life. Josslyn will have to act as if she is amazed to see Britt alive, and Carly will fill in the details.

She will tell her daughter that Britt has been hiding out in Europe, and it will be obvious that Ms. Spencer is annoyed at having to deal with her. She is onyl allowing her to stay because of Jason, and Joss will want to diffuse any tension so her secret will not be revealed.

Carly will say that Josslyn just returned from Australia, which is technically true since she did have a brief stay there with S Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). after their mission in Croatia was completed.

Joss will be horrified that Britt could reveal she works for the WSB as Carly continues antagonizing her guest.

 Britt, however, will say Jossloyn must be shocked to see her alive and well, and she is probably loving this encounter with mother and daughter. 

Britt will prompt Josslyn to say thank you, and Ms. Jacks will be over the top with praise for Britt saving her life. Fans will realize this is not just about preventing Heather Webber (Alley Mills) from hooking her. This will also be about what went down at the Five Poppies in Croatia.

Carly, however, won't know this and Britt will love the double entendres between her and Joss. Unfortunately, Josslyn will become concerned when her mother starts arguing with Britt about the rent. Jason has promised to cover it, but Carlty will demand Britt pay up before midnight. 

Britt will say they need to talk about what Carly owes her instead, so Joss will be frantic that her mom will push Britt into spilling her secret. She will attempt to calm Carlty before too many buttons are pushed, and the bickering goes past the point of no return.

Carly's animosity is because of how close Jason and Britt once were. She is furious that her bestie went off to save the doctor and did not let her in on the details. She is vulnerable that they have secrets she is not aware of.

Spoilers tease that Joss will do anything to keep her WSB agent status a secret. Will she offer to pay Britt's rent, and if so, would Carly accept it? Dr. Westbourne will probably keep Josslyn's secret at least for now, but eventually it will come to light.

If the entire truth is revealed, Carly will not be able to handle that Jack Brenan (Christ McKenna) deceived her and that Joss lied to her. She will also be angry that Jason did not tell her, and that Britt knew something about her daughter she did not.

As long as Britt remains in Jason's room and continues to have interactions with Carly, there is the possibility that the truth will be revealed. Jason should have known this was nto a good idea. He probably should have put Britt up in one of the rooms at the Quartermaine estate.

The exchanges between Joss, Britt, adn Carly will probably be hilarious, so be sure you tune in Monday to see the beginning of the drama on General Hospital.
