Could Audra and Kyle work?

The Young and the Restless has a tendency to recycle romances whether the viewers agree or if they work or not. Spoilers tease that one former couple may soon try again. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) may find themselves involved for yet another go round. The question is can it work?

These two have had a tense, complicated history in Genoa City. Kyle first turned to Audra when he was angry at Summer Abbott (Alison Lanier) for lying about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faking her own death.

Audra came to town trying to win Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) back and was mourning the loss of their unborn child. It was later revealed that she was in a long-term relationship with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). She became power-driven and did not seem like the motherly type.

Audra bewitched Kyle

Kyle had not been a cheater and was married to Summer and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) but Audra did a number on him. She also taunted Summer and rubbed her relationship with Kyle in her face. She and Kyle were once passionate for one another but the love quickly turned to hate and trying to one up each other in the business world.

This duo has manipulated each other in business and in pleasure, but spoilers tease that they might get back together. Circumstances beyond their control may throw them together. Previously they spent all of their time in bed so what are the chances something deeper may develop?

When they were in Europe pretending to desire each other some fans said they felt their feelings were real and if given enough time they would have acted on them. Now things may be coming full circle.

Claire may be done with Kyle

Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) was shocked at what took place between her boyfriend and his ex. Audra may have made a last ditch attempt to reunite with Nate Hastings ((Sean Dominic) who is done with her lies and manipulation. Meanwhile Claire is distancing herself from Kyle. It's all too much for her.

Her issue began when she found that he had been lying to her over and over regarding Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Audra. She does not believe she can trust Kyle while he has continued to try to regain that trust.

Some Y&R viewers say Audra and Kyle deserve each other, but not everyone agrees. These two have lied and schemed and probably should keep far away from each other, but can they?

It's not clear from the storyline that Audra and Kyle are going to try again but spoilers and some viewers believe it's inevitable. No one believes Audra and Kyle will have a lasting relationship, but they might turn to one another out of frustration because Nate and Claire have rejected them.

Kyle put everything on the line for the woman he loves. He made a deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to prove his devotion but now believes Claire wants to be with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).

Is there a future for Audra and Kyle?

Kyle is furious about Holden and if Audra taunts him the anger could turn into passion. Audra has no job and no love life at this time, but she is always scheming. Audra's only friend in Genoa City is Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and that will not be enough for her.

It will be hard to determine if she would only be using Kyle as a means to an end. Perhaps he would also be using her to deal with his fury at Claire and Holden. Could these two have a real future? It will be up to the writers.

Behind all of this is Victor's manipulation of those in Genoa City. Once again lives have been ruined on The Young and the Restless but the Newman patriarch keeps goin on.
