General Hospital Spoilers: Victor's problems increase aboard the Haunted Star

The Cassadine patriarch will find he has bitten off of more than he can chew.

Victor's reign of terror is coming to a close

On General Hospital Victor Cassadine ( Charles Shaughnessy) never breaks a sweat and can be plotting diabolical actions all while smiling that devilish grin. He believes he has everything under control and all is going as planned but soon his current situation will begin to unravel. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is certain he is headed to his compound in Venuzeala and spoilers say Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is there looking for her son Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons).

Along the way, the Cassadine heir has already hit some snags with Spencer Cassadine (Nikolas Chaves) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathlene Gati). Neither is willingly going along with Victor's plans and Spencer even held a knife to Obrecht's neck to give Trina Robinson (Tabbyana Ali) time to try to contact help. "Heir Cassadine" has no idea that Trina is aboard the ship or that she has made contact with the outside world.

Will Curtis arrive in time?

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), and Laura know the coordinates of the ship thanks to Trina and help is no doubt on the way. General Hospital spoilers tease that Baby Ace might become a problem because Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) diagnosed the child with colic. Ace could become cranky without his medicine and a crying baby could be Victor's undoing.

Spoilers also suggest that Trina might do something in the engine room that will slow down the Haunted Star and buy time for a rescue but it appears that there will be some action in Venezuela and perhaps that is where Victor will get what is coming to him. Shaughnessy recently tweeted that General Hospital had given his character the best send-off of a villain that he had ever seen so it sounds like time is winding down for the criminal who wants to dominate the world.

What will happen in Venezuela?

Victor's list of crimes includes kidnapping and several murders and he is no longer even trying to cover his tracks. Valentin Cassadine ( James Patrick Stewart), Nikolas Cassadine ( Adam Haas), and Spencer have all disappointed him so now he is planning a future with Ace. Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is expected to return in May but it's not clear in what capacity or if part of this storyline.

Obrecht needs to be backing Port Charles to save the life of Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) whose life is hanging in the balance. It would be unrealistic for General Hospital to prolong the bone marrow transplant much longer so perhaps Liesl and Trina might be rescued but Victor will travel to his destination. Soap time is different than real-time but certainly, they will not stretch a few days into the next 3 weeks until Helena is back.

This may be the end or not

Some General Hospital viewers are hoping Nathan will be found and reunited with Holly and or that Luek Spencer (Anthony Geary) will be revealed to be alive. Others are desiring Steve Burton to be one of Victor's captives who will be set free but Burton just revealed he has a one-year contract on Days of Our Lives. A cranky baby, an irate Obtrecht, a disloyal Spencer and Trina running amuck may be the least of his troubles compared to what is waiting for Victor on the other side of the occean

Some fans say they are tired of Victor Cassadine interfering in everyone's lives but many others are enjoying the way the character is being written and how Charles Shaughnessy portrays the lovable cad. Be on the lookout for spoiler alerts, breaking news, and updates about what happens next on the Haunted Star and whether or not the ship will make ti to Venuezeala without being intercepted.
