'Arcane' Season 2: The 15 Best Quotes From The ‘League of Legends’ Adaptation
Besides stunning animation and a great soundtrack, 'Arcane' Season 2 has great quotes aplenty in the series' final outing.

Gorgeous animation styles, a rocking soundtrack, heartbreaking moments and quotable quotes, Arcane Season 2 has all these in spades.
Based on the multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legends, Arcane (2019/2024) follows the story of sisters Vi (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell) who are torn apart by the turbulent conflicts between prosperous city Piltover and their impoverished undercity of Zaun.
The Emmy-winning adult animated steampunk epic’s second and final season continues the tragic tale of the two sisters at loggerheads with each other, as well as other intriguing characters with vital parts to play in the survival/destruction of the twin cities.
Co-created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee, and produced by Riot Games and Fortiche Production, Arcane Season 1 was already top-notch.
Arcane Season 2 however lifts the widely acclaimed series up yet another notch in terms of solid storytelling, mesmerizing backdrops, pulsating earworm tracks, and most of all, memorable lines of dialogue that hit home in more ways than one.
In no order of merit, here are the 15 best quotes from Arcane Season 2:
The 15 Best Quotes from 'Arcane' Season 2:

1. “That which inspires us to our greatest good is also the cause of our greatest evil.”
—Viktor’s (Harry Lloyd) inner voice, as his physical body dies after being struck down by Jayce (Kevin Alejandro) in the undercity commune in S2E6, “The Message Hidden Behind the Pattern.”
2. “Humanity. Our very essence. Our emotions... Rage. Compassion. Hate. Two sides of the same coin. Inextricably bound.”
—Viktor as he lays dying, finally understanding the reason for human failures in the world they live in, in S2E6.
3. “Knowledge is a paradox. The more one understands, the more one realizes the vastness of his ignorance.”
—Viktor to Singed (Brett Tucker,) when the latter remarks that he wished he knew how his former mentee became the new undercity “messiah” in S2E6.

4. “Sometimes taking a leap forward means leaving a few things behind.”
—Ekko (Reed Shannon) to Powder (Ella Purnell), telling the latter to pursue bigger dreams in the alternate universe before Powder repeats the same line to him after they danced in S2E7, “Pretend Like It’s The First Time.”
5. “Greatest thing we can do in life is find the power to forgive.”
—Silco (Jason Spisak) to Ekko, after the latter was shocked to see the crime lord being so pally with Vander (JB Blanc) in the alternate universe in S2E7.
6. “No matter what happened in the past, it’s never too late to build something new. Someone worth building it for.”
—Ekko to Jinx, trying his best to convince the latter in his own timeline to not take her own life in S2E9, “Dirt Under Your Nails.”

7. “What’s wrong with my pants???”
—An upset Jinx to the Enforcer on Stillwater bridge, who first sneers and then describes the master criminal’s pants as akin to a “half-eaten circus tent” in S2E4, “Paint The Town Blue.” Arguably the season’s funniest line, kudos to Purnell’s brilliant line delivery!
8. “We don’t hand over our people.”
—Sevika (Amirah Vann) to Smeech, when the chem-baron wants her to hand over Jinx to Topside in S2E2, “Watch It All Burn.” A moral code which Vander and Silco also adhered to, but alas not Vi.
9. "Every action sparks a reaction."
—Heimerdinger (Mick Wingert) to Jayce and Ekko, as his former and current pupils discuss the difference between Hextech runes and Wild Runes in S2E3, “Finally Got The Name Right.” Arguably the key theme that runs through the entire Arcane storyline.

10. “What about those over-designed bitch mittens that you didn’t even build yourself?”
—Jinx to Vi, referring to the latter’s Hextech gauntlets after her older sister criticized her “ugly gadgets and chickenshit tricks” in S2E5, “Blisters and Bedrock.”
11. “What are you waiting for? He’s your dad too.”
—Vi to Jinx, inviting the latter to join her in embracing Vander/Warwick before Isha (Lucy Lowe) joins in as well in S2E5. For a split second, many fans thought maybe, just maybe, there could be a happy family ending in Arcane…
12. “I think the cycle only ends when you find the will to walk away.”
—Silco (in a vision) to a severely depressed Jinx, who was fighting with her demons in a Piltover cell after Isha and Warwick’s deaths in S2E8, “Killing Is A Cycle.”

13. “There is beauty in imperfections. They made you who you are.”
—Jayce to Viktor, in the season finale S2E9 as the Piltover councilman tries to convince his friend that he was warned by Viktor’s future self that their creation Hextech will eventually destroy all of humanity.
14. (In silence) “Pew!”
—Isha to Jinx, giving the latter her trademark finger gun gesture before sacrificing herself to stop a Vander/Warwick gone berserk and save Jinx in the process after the Noxian soldiers attack in S2E6. A scene that still makes many Arcane viewers cry till this day…
15. “Always with you, sis.”
—Jinx to Vi, confirming her love for her older sister as she sacrifices herself* to save the latter from a savage Warwick and from falling off a dismantling platform in the season finale episode. (*"Is Jinx really dead?" continues to be an ongoing debate...)
