Rumors of Anthony Geary returning to General Hospital continue ten years after Luke Spencer went to Paris. The actor has said he is happy in the Netherlands and is glad he left Hollywood behind. Still, fans invested in Lorenzo Spencer continue to say they wish he would return. This has been feuled by fake clickbait articles stating that Luke is alive and heading back to Port Charles.

It was initially assumed that Victor Casadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was holding Luke somewhere. There were GH viewers expecting a long storyline that led to the discovery of Tracy Quartermaine's (Jane Elliot) husband but this never happened. Geary is now a married man and has made his disdain for Hollywood clear. His spouse is Claudio Gamma.
