Michaewl returned for the Nurses Ball

Michael is back and ready for a fight

Rory Gibson debuted as Michael Corinthos Friday on General Hospital and is more edgy than his predecessor. Chad Duell displayed a harder side to the character in later years, but the writers want Gibson to make Michael his own.

Duell was blonde like both parents, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan). Gibson has dark hair like his grandfather, Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon). Fans could tell when the character was watching the Nurses Ball from the airplane that he was fuming.

Michael walked unannounced into the Metro Court and unapologetically grabbed Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and headed out. Spoilers say Michael and his son will go to Carly's house, but it's unclear if this is a permanent solution.

Micahel could get custody of Wiley and Willow keep Amelia

Surprise Surprise

No one in Port Charles expected Michael to return so soon. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) probably picked him up from the airport because he received a phone call and left Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) at the PCPD without a ride home.

GH viewers know Willow Corinthos (Katelynn MacMullen) adopted Wiley, the son of her sister Nell Benson (Chloe Lanier). Michael is the boy's biological father, so he might get his son,and his daughter Amelia is given to Willow in a custody hearing. Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison should be nervous because he had no idea Michael could travel so soon and would return to Port Charles.

GH fans accept that Chad Duell is gone

Is it time for Drew to pay for his sins?

Drew bribed a nurse to lie to Willow, saying that Michael never wanted to see her when she flew to Germany. At some point, Michael and Willow must discuss without Drew, and the truth will surely be revealed. Will this be enough for Willow to open her eyes because she has yet to listen to anyone who warns her about her husband's uncle?

Drew and Willow are making out in public and don't seem to care that they are committing adultery. Their only saving grace will be if they find out Michael cheated with Sasha Gilmore (Sophia Mattson), who is carrying his child.

At some point, Willow will learn that Drew and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) were sleeping together when she went to bed with the congressman. Is it possible that even this news will nto be a deal breaker? What could Drew do that would lead Willow far away from him? Fans say he needs to pay for his recent actions.

Will Drew and Nina be exposed?

Will Sasha and Nina's secrets be revealed?

GH viewers are certain that Sasha and Nina's secrets will be revealed because the only person in Port Charles who keeps getting away with murder is Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who hasn't paid for shooting Julian Jerome (William deVry) or Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington).

Michael and Willow will be fighting for sole custody, but a judge might give them a joint arrangement or, as mentioned earlier, give each child to a parent. Gibson's Michael seems to have the cunning of Sonny and Carly, and he may prove to be as ruthless.

Will Michael get revenge on Willow and Drew?

Is the deck stacked against Drew and Willow?

There is also the fact that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) will do anything for Carly, so the deck might be stacked against Willow and Drew. If Tracy can prove she was framed, this will also go against Congressman Cane/Quartermaine.

General Hospital fans are excited that Michael has returned, and many have adapted to Rory Gibson in this saga. The drama surrounding Michael and Gio Palmieri (Giovann Maza) will have the Q mansion jumping.

Stay tuned to find out what happens next in Port Charles, and remember there will be a repeat episode on Monday for Labor Day. On Tuesday, however, the battles begin.
