By Raven Published 5 years ago 7 min read

Did you just finish binge watching your favorite TV show and now you have absolutely no idea what to watch next? Finishing the last episode of your favorite TV show can feel like you just ended a 10 year friendship! But don't worry! I am here to bring you 8 more amazing TV shows that are guaranteed to get you hooked! Let get it!

#1 High Fidelity

High Fidelity follows the story of Robyn aka Rob, a young women in Brooklyn, NY played by actress Zoe Kravitz. After a failed relationship with her fiance, Russell, she sets out on a mission to visit everyone on her "Top Five Heartbreaks" list to see if she can find out why it seems all her relationships never seem to work out and maybe get some closure from her most recent heartbreak. In between navigating her love life ,Rob manages a record shop with her two friends Cherise, who is an aspiring musician and Simon, her former boyfriend turned best friend. After Rob gets word her ex-fiance has moved on to another girl she falls down the hole of "internet stalking" (we've all been there before). This show is definitely one of the most relatable shows I've watched in awhile! You'll love the music, fashion and characters! You can find this show on Hulu and binge watch the entire first season. I promise you'll be just as upset as I was Hulu cancelled this absolute gem after only the first season.

#2 Dollface

Now this show right here is one for the girls! This show stars Kat Dennings, Shay Mitchell, Brenda Song and so many more! Its guaranteed to have you laughing from start to finish while also being super relatable! The show begins with main character, Jules, played by Kat Dennings being dumped by her boyfriend who she's spent all of her time with over the years. Realizing she no longer has any friends to fall back on after her breakup, she tries to reconnect with her best friend, Madison, played by Brenda Song who isn't the least forgiving after Jules but her boyfriend in front of their friendship. Shes able to reconnect with a mutual friend Stella, played by Shay Mitchell and eventually gets the gang together including a new friend of theirs Izzy, played by Esther Povitsky. There are tons of hilarious cut scenes Jules goes through featuring a literal cat lady, poking fun of her issues as far as dealing with her breakup. To explain further, in an episode where Jules is worried she'll run into her ex, their is a brief cut scene where she finds herself as a guest on a news channel where the speakers talk of her possibilities of running into her ex. For example all the places they use to go together and its just done in such a funny way! Dollface shows how important having a good group of girlfriends is! I'm going to go re-watch it right now! You can find this show on Hulu and good news, its renewed for a second season!

#3 The 100

Okay switching things up a little bit with number three! The story follows main character Clarke and her soon to be close friends! The 100 is about a life after earth where earth is no longer inhabitable so they live up in the sky in a huge aircraft. Unfortunately, because resources are scarce in the aircraft, rules are very strict. For example, you are only allowed to have one child. If you give birth to a second child you will be "floated" as punishment. You might be wondering what that means, well the ruler, whom they call Jaha, will float you off into space. I know, how horrible does that sound! But that's not even where the story gets interesting. There is a group of 100 delinquent teens being held as prisoners for any crime they've committed. When Jaha and the committee find out the space craft is running out of oxygen, they send the 100 teens down to earth in a spacecraft to see if it can once again be livable. When alliances start to form the group has split ideals on how they should handle being on the ground. Most of them love the freedom of being away from their parents and just party, neglecting the fact they have to find a way to get food, water and shelter. Clarke tries her best to get order but dealing with 99 other teens tons of problems arise with who should be in charge and the rules that should be enforced. Little do they know, they have even bigger worries... they aren't the only people on the ground. And the other people, well, they don't necessarily want to be friends. This show is so full of action, adventure, love and everything you could be looking for in a show. Not to mention those tear-jerkier moments! Currently releasing new season 7 episodes, this show has plenty binge watch material! Go head over to Netflix to catch up on The 100 now!

#4 Betty

This cool skater girl show is a spin-off on the film Skate Kitchen! It's pretty new with only one season to date with 6 episodes, making it fairly easy to binge watch in a day or two! It follows a group of friends Janay, Honeybear, Kirt, Indigo and Camille who skate! The show tackles how although skating is a predominately male sport, women skateboard as well and they're just as entitled to the skate park as men are! The show starts with Kirt and Janay heading to an girls skate off, which they hosted. Turns out word about the skate off didn't get around like they thought it would, thankfully they end up meeting Honeybear, Indigo and Camille from the strange events of that day. We then go on to follow each character as they deal with issues surrounding friendship, sexuality and not fitting in. This coming of age film is hilarious, real, and genuine! It makes you feel like you're literally watching a real group of friends and their everyday life! Even if you have never touched a skateboard, there is definitely something you can relate to in this show! I don't skate but when I finished this show, I went straight to Offer Up to look for a skate board! You can find Betty on Hulu, where hopefully there will be a season 2 soon!

#5 Euphoria

The next show on the list is the one and only Euphoria! I was unfortunately super late to this show because I didn't have HBO. This show follows the character Rue, played by Zendaya. Rue is a teen who struggles with drug abuse. After her father becomes ill, Rue starts taking her fathers medication to cope with it. This is the first instance where we see the drug abuse begin. After her fathers passing the drug abuse only progresses, leading to a damaged relationship with her mother, who only wants to see she her do her best. Her younger sister Gia, whom she's very close with, finds Rue in her room unconscious. Due to overdose Rue is sent to rehab over the summer in hopes of getting clean. After learning nothing from rehab, on her way home shes captivated by a girl shes never seen before riding her bike. When Rue finds out she's the new girl in town named Jules, a curiosity in her grows to know more about her. When Jules has a ruff encounter with quarterback Nate at a big high school party in front of everyone she leaves and Rue follows behind her. From then on and instant friendship begins between the two! As Rue begins falling head over heels for Jules, she struggles telling her her true feelings. All Rue knows is that with her she finally feels happy, she's willing to let go of drugs for her. Euphoria also follows the life of Maddy and Nate the "popular high school sweethearts" who also have bigger problems than they let on. Nate has a lot of issues that stem from his complicated relationship with his father. And his father.... well you'll just have to watch the show for more on that. Maddy has a group of close girl friends, Kat and Cassie, who also have their own individual stories. Kat definitely has one of the coolest transformations I've ever seen on a TV show. She starts out pretty reserved with guys until she has her first experience with one and it goes bad when suddenly the whole school knows about it. Instead of going into hiding she gives herself a complete makeover and turns into the coolest, most confident bad ass version of herself! She begins embraces everything about herself she once didn't like! If you have yet to see Euphoria, you are definitely missing out! Head over to Hulu and get caught up now!

#6 Pen15

Last but not least, Pen15! This show will definitely go down in history as one of the best shows to ever be made! Pen15 is awkward, relatable (to the highest degree), and one of the funniest films to ever be put on TV! Hulu absolutely nailed this show when it comes to being relatable! We all remember middle school being pretty much the worst, most awkward time of our lives right? Well Pen15 pretty much took all of our embarrassing moments back then and put them in a TV show!! As you watch this show you'll start seeing yourself in sooo many situations and wonder if hulu somehow followed you throughout your middle school life! The show is set in the 90's and follows two best friends, Maya and Anna, who are trying to navigate their way through middle school with much difficulty (as did we). Maya and Anna deal with things like first kisses, puberty, not fitting in, crushes not liking them back, family situations and there's even an episode that tackles racism. They realize even though a lot of things don't go as planned, at least they have each other and that is the most important thing! I promise you will LOVE this show! Hulu has renewed it for a second season that will air September 18th and you don't want to miss it!
