What I Want from Zelda's 35th Anniversary
Just a couple of days ago, the gaming community received a shock when a Nintendo Direct was announced with promises of news about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, along with other games that Nintendo had planned for the first half of 2021. I think it goes without saying that a lot of people expected news about The Legend of Zelda as well, by virtue of 2021 being the 35th anniversary of the legendary franchise. The first game of the series released on February 21st, all the way back in 1986, and it hasn't looked back since, going on to become one of the most successful video game franchises in history with many of its entries being contenders for the coveted title 'the greatest game ever made.'

Breath of the Wild: Sequel of Sequels
It's been nearly four years since the gaming community was finally able to experience one of the most highly anticipated releases in game history. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild brought a breath of fresh air to the iconic franchise by giving players the freedom of open world exploration and abandoning the strictly linear experience that plagued the many entries that preceded it. It was a welcome change from the small contained world of Skyward Sword with an overworld profoundly larger than any other and the ability to go anywhere the player wished once the first area was completed.

What are the changes made in Ocarina of Time's Master Quest?
I want to start this off by saying I am technically only a casual gamer, in that I do not play very many games and I can go long periods not playing anything at all. That being said, the games that I do play and enjoy, I play A LOT and replay many times. The series of games that certainly holds the number one spot in my heart is The Legend of Zelda. I believe I have played every 3D Zelda game that has come out and I can say with certainty that Ocarina of Time is the game that sparked my love of video games as well as the Role Playing Game genre.

How I Fixed My Nintendo Mini
The Pokémon Mini Pokémon is one of the bestselling franchises of all time. Most people have heard of Pokémon, but they won’t know about this console. There has been a plethora of products and consoles that comes and goes over the years. I remember the Pokémon Mini being advertised on the telly when I was a kid. It was around the time when the gameboys had finished their shelf live and they were bringing the gameboy advanced and the GameCube.

You Can Still Access The Nintendo DS Server
About The Nintendo DS The Nintendo DS was so much more than just a gaming platform. Not only did the device boast two screens, but it was also the first to fully utilize Wi-Fi. The first lot of Nintendo DS systems with included the DS Lite and the original often referred to as DS Phat offered backwards compatibility with it’s predecessor, the Gameboy Advance. Nintendo DSi removed this to improve portability.

2000's Nostalgia
It’s a hot summer night in the year 2000. Mom and I just finished cleaning up dinner and I ask her if I can ride my bike up to the corner store like I do every Friday evening. She slips me a $5 bill from her wallet and tells me to be safe, make sure I look both ways before crossing the street. I give her a kiss goodbye and run out to the back shed to pull out my bright yellow mountain bike.

The Five Epic Spin-Offs We Want from Nintendo IPs
Nintendo is no stranger to placing their characters in bizarre situations. From golf to board games, tennis to go-karts, and soccer to an all-or-nothing brawl, Mario and friends have found themselves in uncountable spin-offs. But the Mario brand isn't the only IP to broaden its horizons, though it does have the broadest. Indeed, Link and other Hyrule natives have taken to hack-and-slash combat a la Dynasty Warriors; the Star Fox crew have taken to the skies in full on tactical combat; and space marines from the Metroid universe had the pleasure of going on four person space co-op missions. So, why not Nintendo? Why not expand into some other new frontiers?
