The Value Of Money
A Life And Legacy Examination

This is why people work harder and harder to form their fortunes, all in the hope of reaching financial stability, success, and status.
To be sure, the never-ending pursuit of money might, at times, find the way to a much-needed awakening wherein a thought dares to come to the fore that shed a light on the bigger picture that hoarding money, while being wholly unable to share it, can matter little in the broader picture of life.
This story is a great reminder of something important which is that you know' as someone who has gotten to the end of their life and you have accumulated some wealth, you have also been very tight and hoarded that wealth and not benevolent shared it with anyone around you or the needy and at the end of your life you may come to that realization.
It doesn't matter how much someone makes, money is not the essence of happiness, fulfillment or even a lasting legacy.
All the things that matter, relationships, kindness, love, all amount to so much more than some cold digits on a bank account.
A life focused only on material wealth, greed and indifference can leave a void that money cant fulfill.
It is the story of the person who does not realize this and becomes addicted to their financial success, which demands that they don't just take what they can but also that they leave what they will.
That wealth may deprive that individual of family and loved ones, and in the long run, they themselves can begin to feel impoverished by all their riches.
The Reckoning-Discovering What Really Matters
At the end of their life they might meet with a moment of reckoning.
Perhaps, in the last few moments of existence, they would come to realize that material gain is insignificant compared to the never experienced love and companionship.
You can't put a price on the comforts of a close ring of family, the joy of shared moments or the peace of helping others, no matter how high their bank balance.
It is a humbling realization, particularly in the face of the inevitable. Having accumulated a substantial amount of financial means but neglected the core values of life, such as love and generosity, you could start asking yourself if it was all worth it.
At that point, all they might hear is the ghost of wealth, reminding them that wealth, ultimately, doesn't offer much satisfaction.
In the tale of life and death, there is one mythical character who acts as the boss of the afterworld, known as the Grim Reaper.
In some stories, the Grim Reaper serves as a guide for souls as they move from life to death, dispensing wisdom about the value of human existence, However, according to the myth the Grim Reaper might prove the saying that wealth is the most splendid thing one could own to be false.
When faced with a soul that has chased money all of its life, the Reaper may inquire.
What is the value of money when the life that could have been there was neglected????
Money Is Not Everything
One of the cruxes of this story is that money is inherently worthless after about a billion dollars.
We all need financial stability and wealth to thrive in the world, but they cannot be the only purpose of life. As a result, when someone prioritizes their money over everything else, they inevitably lose their loved ones, their joy, and eventually their soul.
You can die with all the gold you can hold, but not have a single friend who will mourn for you because you were too busy counting it to notice someone with an empty plate, sitting next to you.
Years from now, they may glance back on all they have accrued, and realize that it's of no real value compared to making a difference in the lives of those around them.
Or maybe in the end, they realize that financial acumen could never serve the true longings of the soul.
