Good news.

Good news.

"The meaning of life is not what it brings us, but how we treat it; not what happens to us, it's how we react to it." - Lewis L. Dunnington

A college graduate looking for a job took part in a specialized creative competition organized by the association of universities across the country. After months of trials, you've been placed among the best in the final.

And then you've been struggling to overcome your opponents in the final fight, lasting three days of stress and winning the championship. The reward for you is a lot of money that my student life never dreamed of.

After leaving the hall and escaping from the press camera lights, he entered the parking lot and left. Suddenly, a woman approached you. She choked:

- Uncle, congratulations, it's an honour for you to win the first prize in this tough competition. I have something to say to you, but I don't know if it's convenient. If you have kids, you'll understand what I'm talking about.

My kid's in a hospital with severe cancer, if it wasn't for such a large sum of money...

- How much do you need? - The student looked at you asking, genuine sympathy.

After hearing the woman tell her everything, he took out the envelope with the money he had received and gave it to her.

- I hope your son's out of danger. I'll take care of her right away. - You said.

- Thank you, I don't know what I'm gonna take to thank you.

Then the woman with an emotional appearance walked out of the gate.

A few days later, I'll be back in school. The one who saw it came and asked:

- Someone told me you met a woman last night after the contest and you gave her money to cure her dying child, didn't you?

The young man nodded and confirmed.

- Then I have to let you know. She's a real fraud. She doesn't have any sick children dying. You believe me! You've been fooled, buddy!

A moment of silence, the young man asked again:

- It's true that none of the babies are almost sick, isn't it?

- Yes. - I assure you, man.

- Oh, that's the best news of the day I've ever heard, said the young man.

I added:

- We should celebrate because no child has to die.

5. Hospital Window Cell

"Instead of those who can bring joy to others in silence" - Unknown

Two seriously ill men lie in the same room. One has fluid disease in the lungs and the other is half-paralyzed. Every afternoon, people with lung disease have to sit up for about an hour to get their lungs dry.

His bed is next to the only window in the room. A paralyzed person has to lie in bed all day long. They used to talk to each other for hours about family, friends, life... and together recall the memories of serving in the army.

Every afternoon, when a man in a sick bed near the window gets up, he usually entertains him by telling his roommate what he sees outside the window.

According to your story, the sick man in the other bed seemed to be resurrected in a colorful world outside the door frame. There's a green park with a green, poetic lake and a bunch of lilies rolling around.

Next to it, the children were dropping onto the flat lake quietly on paper boats. Couples of lovers, hand in hand, walking around the red roses...

It's all like a colorful dream painting. While the sick man near the drunken window was telling, in the other bed, his friend was licking his eyes, imagining before his eyes a beautiful picture of a dream.

On a warm afternoon, the sick man in the bed near the window told his friend about a parade going on outside. Though I can't hear the orchestra chanting out there, the paralyzed man can still imagine the spectacle.

The days of silence passed by.

One morning, as usual, the nurse brought them water and found the patient lying still on the bed next to the window. He took his last breath in peaceful sleep last night.

After your death, the paralyzed man asked to be moved to the bed next to the window. On his new bed, painfully compressed, he finds every way to resist, slowly rises up and begins to spread his vision to the outside world.

But in front of you is just a blank white wall.

Only later did he find out the truth: your late friend was a seasoned man, and he couldn't even see that unconscious wall. What he wants is to bring joy and comfort to his friends.
