Amphipathic
It was the seventh spring of the seventh year after I met you, the time it all started. My world was rocked to its foundations. I wonder if my voice can still reach out to you beyond the fields of infinity, whoever you are and wherever you may be. I have no memory of you, but if I find you again, I might find myself…

The Devil and Apple Juice
“Finally, someone came here! What’s up girl?” I turned around, almost tripping over myself as I faced the voice. I looked at the figure in front of me, confused at the person—well let's call it a person for now I was seeing. A relatively young looking guy, probably late 20s, grinned from ear to ear as he looked me up and down, hands in his pockets.

'Doctor Who: The Third Doctor Adventures' Volume 4 Review
It's been two years now since the first of The Third Doctor Adventures arrived from Big Finish. In that time, the range has gone from strength to strength across three previous sets, recreating early 1970s Doctor Who on audio with Tim Trealor stepping into Jon Pertwee's role. While the range has played it safe to an extent up until now (most notably with the Dalek story in Volume 3), this fourth entry promised to explore new territory by taking this Doctor up against two foes he'd never encountered on TV.

Returning to Eden
ENTRY #1: They were absorbed by the light as soon as the sun rose into the existence of human life. Their souls were sucked away, the essence of their lives twirling into a tornado. Their bodies laid there while flowers blossomed around their rapidly decaying physical entity. The smell of lavender and citrus filled the air while they soon were gone from this world. This was something that happened here every day. We were all given a date when we would lay on the ground and wait for the sun so that we could ascend to The Beyond. No one knew why this happened, but no one questioned it either. It was part of our life and the world accepted it. Watching the flowers bloom was my favorite part; I can no longer look at a flower anymore without feeling despair. After the flowers grew from their rotting flesh, the cycle of Ascension was complete and they were gone forever. I watched this happen every day for many years, waiting for the day that I could participate. Unfortunately, I never got to experience such bliss. April 17, 2095 was the date for my Ascension. The year is now 2099 and everyone on this planet has ascended. I am the last of this world.

The Golden Key
Once upon a time… Winter storms infected a land somewhere very, very far away. Snow flurries consumed the sky, and bunches of white frost multiplied on the ground. A poor orphan boy named Gavin Staniel left his makeshift home to gather wood for fire. The young boy was nearly an ice cube by the time his sled was full of materials for burning, so he sat for a minute to enjoy the warmth of small flames. He brushed away the snow from the icy ground, and a tiny golden key stole his attention. He soon forgot about the cold and dug deep into the earth for the answer. A small iron box was that answer, and sure enough the key fit.

The Phoenix and the Dragon
There was a phoenix burning brightly as she flew into the air. She was off in her head day dreaming. The phoenix should have been paying attention to where she was going, but she seldom did that. She thought that she was the only one that could fly as high as she, so it didn't matter to her. Since she was so deep in thought the phoenix didn't see the dragon that she was about to run into. She snapped to, but it was too late. The dragon and the phoenix collided!
