The Misplaced: Segment 3
CHAPTER 17: PANGA The dagger was a welcome addition to Panga’s wardrobe. She wasn’t as vocal about it, but she didn’t like being sent to safety any more than Jadin did. She often thought that her abilities were the weakest of the group. Unlike Alectra she couldn’t manipulate emotions. She could only influence an emotion that she, her target, or people nearby were currently feeling. In addition, those emotions had to be naturally occurring. She couldn’t tag team with Alectra or Jadin. She couldn’t spread Jadin’s ecstasy or an emotion that Alectra had manipulated. The only way she had been able to work with Alectra against the Sheriff, for all the good it did, was because she herself was feeling scared.

The Misplaced: Segment 2
CHAPTER 10: ALECTRA Not for the first time, Alectra was grateful for the horses. Without them, she was certain they couldn’t have put enough distance between themselves and the dragon. In addition, none of the boys were in any condition to walk. The strain of defeating the dragon had taken everything out of each of them. The girls rode out ahead of them in V formation, Alectra in the lead with Jadin slightly behind her to her left, and Panga equal to Jadin to her right. Alectra glanced over at Panga with resentment. She didn’t appreciate how she had called her out for suggesting the dragon should be killed and thought even less of how she had influenced her emotions. She didn’t care that she knew she had done the same to the others. Someone had to say it. It just so happened to be her.

Domino: The Awakening - Final Chapter
Looking through the City's camera feed at the park, Pyropolarnite saw the events unfolded upon Domino's true awakening and felt she lost her love, "How could Domino betray me? After all I sacrificed to be with him, he turns on me like this?!" Wrath builds up within her core, "Fine, he can die with the rest of his so-called friends! I cannot be with someone who'd rather side with his killer than with the one who loved him." She turned to one of her Undead servants, "From now on, you will be my new General. See to it that they all die, except for Domino. I want to see him suffer in horror while he watches all those he cares about expire. He will know what it means to lose something precious to him."

Writer's Toolbox—Story 1
The exercise I'll be using from The Writer's Toolbox requires you to randomly choose one stick from three categories—the First Sentence, the Non Sequitur, and the Last Straw—each of which have a writing prompt to use (I will have these in bold).

The 60s Never Saw Kuri
Cultural explosion, an understanding of freedom and sexual liberty turned the 40s into the 60s. And in the middle of all this staunch change, a letter was passed between two very unlikely people.
