How Kinetic Abilities Are Really Supposed to Work (Telekinesis and More)
The mind and body are constantly communicating. We don’t think about how natural it is until we try out our mental energy on something that isn’t inherently natural to us, but some people have tried and supposedly succeeded in making the inanimate animated without physical strength. Telekinesis, also known as psychokinesis, is described as, “…The ability to mentally influence objects or conditions in the absence of intervening physical energy or intermediary instrumentation,” (Weschcke and Slate 2016). Basically, mind over matter.

Highest Treason
Darkness and silence, but no... Is that whispering? Silence and then... Yes! I can hear voices. Why can't I see anything? Where am I? I could hear voices, but nothing they said made sense. I was being carried on a flat surface, but no this is a not floating sensation. This isn't a boat or a board in the ocean floating beneath my body, this was a flat cool surface being carried.

Domino: Revelations (Chapter 1)
Months after training for FUSA's Counter-Terrorist Division, Domino began to dim the light within his soul. Without faith nor guidance, the Dark Bearer lost his immortality, morality, and humanity. In lieu of personal thought, orders clouded his judgment. After a while of capturing or killing innocent Believers, his victims' screams grew pleasant to his ears. Their wailing cries created a tortuous symphony in his mind. To him, his swift hand of "justice" was a means to create a better world without conflict over which Entity was the most righteous.

Lucid: Chapter 1
PROLOGUE Damn... back to the real world again. Life is great and all but... I'll leave that comment for later. Most people wake up happy to see another day, “all praise to the most high,” they say. Me? I'd rather sleep for the rest of my life. I don't mean to die or to go comatose. I mean, literally sleep. See, me... I'm what you'd call a "lucid dreamer." I'm as conscious while dreaming as I am right now. The worlds I enter in the dreamscape are beyond amazing. This “real” world is bland and dry in comparison.

'Narcopolis' (2015)
There are not many movies that I finish and cannot stop thinking about afterward. Not the simple thought of "Hmm...that was a good movie...," but the feeling that you had no idea the ride you were about to get on and you wish that it would never end. I full well went into this film with certain assumptions based on the synopsis; those notions were surprisingly but literally shattered by the ingenious plot of this story. Without further ado, let's get right into it.

How To Survive a Spiritual Curse (...When You Don't Know Shit, OR HAVE Anyone...) PART 2: The HEX and The Bruja
...not only was Mr. Phillips known in the neighborhood as a man who practiced Obeah, he was also a man who spent his leisure time digging in trashcans. A man of wild resources, Mr. Phillps brought home all types of garbage. On any random day, you would find yourself leaving the house for your daily business, and frequently step over random artifacts that Mr. Phillps found the night prior. One day, you would pass an American flag and a vintage wheelchair, the next day it would be a 4-foot tall giraffe figurine. He would collect everything and bring it right back to that house. He loved garage sales and flea markets and spent every dollar he had looking for what he called "treasure." Being in school, I never paid it any mind, but as things took a turn for the worst, I regret ever combing my hair, clipping my nails and even brushing my teeth and throwing that all in the trash.
