It's funny how we all relate to life conceptually. To some, life's cheap; to others, priceless. I suppose it has to do with which type of life one lives. Yet, in the objective universe, there seems a hierarchy. The lowly bug fried on an electrified wire will not haunt anyone like killing a child with a car. A dramatic contrast, certainly.

The Gulls
Hailey trudges the edge of the playing field, picking litter. They should make the kids eat inside. A gull flaps down, looking for crumbs. Hailey flinches, remembering that holiday in Cornwall when a seagull did just the same thing: stole her ice cream and left her with a black-eye. The kids really should eat indoors!

World Peace
(This is an unofficial entry into the lipogram contest.) This is also a micro fiction story. What's all the world about. We all just want peace to love all people. No matter what's to do about every person and how to get people to love one another. There's a way to do what needs to be done. We just have to be able to see a way. One way we should be able to do World Peace could be to once again take part could be "Hands Around the World". How should we do such a project? We could ask questions, or we could just move along as we have been. World peace a concept that should be easy but not.
