I Trusted a Frog
“Oh, cool, a frog,” I said. “I can talk, you know,” the frog said. “Oh, cool. A talking frog,” I said. “You mean you’re not scared? Why?” The frog asked. “I watch fairy tail movies. If I kiss you, will you turn into a prince?” I asked. “Close. A wealthy businessman,” the frog said. I picked up the frog and gave him a smooch. I felt myself shrinking. “What just happened?” I asked. “Oops! The magic turned you into a frog, instead,” the frog said, laughing. “You tricked me, frog,” I screamed. “My name is Fred,” the frog said smugly.

A Stupid Decision
Cutler felt his stomach drop, the same as when he swung too high while jumping off the swing set at the park, and a wave of dizziness passed through him. He braced himself against his bedpost, and looked around frantically for somewhere to hide in the small bedroom space. What a stupid decision.

Monster High School
Today was finals. The test required we scare ten humans. I was a very talented human scarer. I hid in their closets and under their beds, came in through their rooftops and landed on top of their heads. When they wouldn’t scare easy I tied up their kids. Then I’d watch as they’d flip their lids. I went back to school and turned in a recording of it all. With over one thousand human scares, my teacher took a fall. Whispers started amongst the humans about how bad I was to all. When you see X face, hide and crawl.

Judgement Day
“I sentence you to eighty seven years in prison,” I said. He was only nine and his crime was bubblegum theft, but the law is the law. No excuses for breaking it. He went to his cell crying, I went home and slept happy. I watched the news and saw a superior court judge released everyone I had sentenced for ‘excessive punishment.’ I heard shouting outside my house. I went outside to see what the noise was. It was all the convicts. “There he is. Get him,” someone shouted. A car rammed my gates and they all beat me up.
