Turquoise Moon: Part 3
Jane was excited to meet Jessica. She went on with her day as usual, but could not wait until Saturday at 8pm. Jessica texted Jane saying, "Hi I cannot wait to hang out with you!" and it brightened Jane's entire day. As the day went on Jane watched television and did her usual routine when she was off, watching shows like Rick and Morty, Futurama and Weeds. To calm her nerves down around 5pm Jane smoked a bowl and it relaxed her a lot. Finally, it was 7:45pm and Jane prepared herself to go meet Jessica at the bar Smokin' Joe's. Jane still could not believe this was happening. She was so excited, because this friendship could turn into more and was hoping such. Jane still had in the back of her head that this could be just a friendship and nothing more than that or a fling. She hoped for the news that Jessica and her boyfriend would not be working out so well.

Bartlett and Anjou
At the heart of the forest, there was a circle of cornstalks. Each stalk was fifteen feet tall. At the center of the circle was a pear tree stretching forty feet in the air. The mystical place was a blessing to any who found it. The ears of corn were two feet in length, delicious, and regrew every month. The pear tree had the most sumptuous fruit to be found. Even more interesting was stumbling upon a deer in the area that had been eating the corn or pears. Each whitetail deer that consumed the fruit was nearly twice the regular size.

The throne of reeds
After the leaves changed colour from fire to dirt, fell and became dirt, and when the cold came quick and the sun shied away, my body tired, but I was thankful; the great green serpents, and the venomous, brown Scaled Ones with evil red eyes, retreated into stolen and abandoned burrows seeking protection below the coming frost; no longer would my subjects spend long minutes terrified, sat as still as the giant red hatted guardian of our pond, cold hearts in our mouths, hiding from slitted gaze.

Beatrice
Alanna enjoyed her job. She knew that wasn't fashionable and that many wouldn't understand, but it brought her joy. The first thing she loved about it were the hours. She woke with the dawn - still fasting - so that she could walk among the Sacred Pinetum. After that was her duties at the beach and then she retired to her small, breezy hut for the duration of the scorching heat, until it was time to repeat it all again at dusk.

The Kir Files Part 2
Chapter 5: ***Moose*** I was enjoying a game of capture the flag when suddenly I feel the urge to find Kir. I may be used to strange things happening around the Bastet siblings, but never in my wildest dreams would I ever expect to be connected to the alpha in such a way that I immediately grew anxious upon being incapable of finding her right away. My instincts led me towards the forest that I had discovered Kir in earlier today. As I approached my destination, I immediately notice the copper smell of blood and a bright light. As the light fades I'm horrified to find Kir's throat with dried blood across it as she stands staring at the man that called himself Asher before.
