On A Train
A Thoughtpiece
To be sat in a warm seat, ideally with someone close, watching the countryside glide by and the train takes you to your destination.
See the trees and the rivers pass you by and you look through the window, protected from the wind and rain. You could almost fall asleep, rocked by the hypnotic rhythm of the train running on the metal tracks, as it does every day.
See the clouds rolling above the hills, moving with the train, as the driver makes sure you will be safe and make your destination.
This is somewhere that you feel you could stay forever. but you have a place you want to be, so you take a small nap and allow yourself to dream, how perfect everything can be.

Heaven On Earth
Global warming, exacerbated by the output of greenhouse gasses and the destruction of the rainforests. They took their planes around the world to to have meetings in expensive hotels to come up with plans to rectify the situation and told people to use less power, less resources, and tighten their belts. Then they flew back and took their expensive petrol-driven limousine home, where they lived in opulent comfort with their heated swimming pools and stables funded by the taxpayer.
