Another dark humor Drabble
A newlywed couple was in a car accident. The husband gets some scratches, but the wife is airlifted to an ER with multiple life-threatening injuries.
After a six-hour surgery, the doctor comes out to update the husband.
"Doctor, is she gonna survive?"
"She's in a coma. Brace yourself: you'll have to tube-feed her, wash her with a sponge, change her diapers, and shift her body to prevent bed sores every three hours. And still, she may never come out of the coma."
After a pause, the doctor says to the shell-shocked husband, "Scary, right? I was just kidding: She died."

Unexpected ending lol ha ha
That was an unexpected twist. Human emotions and reactions are confusing. Even if he felt relief, the guilt from that reaction may haunt him and add to grief. Interesting story.
That doctor needs to work on his bedside manner! But that was shocking! And yet, funny. Very dark! I wonder if that husband felt relief or grief?
