Hellraiser: Pathway
Hellraiser micro fan fiction

There was only one rule: “don’t open the door.”
But this door wasn’t the traditional door. It was a metaphorical door, a pathway. This door was called the Lament Configuration, a pathway to a forbidden world of pleasure and pain alike. Legend has it if you open this door you enter a world from which there is no returning. This is why the golden rule for anyone who didn’t seek an eternity of suffering was don’t open this door, because if you did there was no coming back.
Samuel had the door in his hand, the Lament Configuration, a metal puzzle box. He examined it loosely in his grip while he sat on the floor of his darkened living room. His raced as he prepared himself to open the pathway to a world known as The Labyrinth. He slowly rubbed the circle at the center of the box and then pressed the button on the side. The box then opened itself as the floorboards began creaking and walls began cracking. A light shined through the window and three leather clad beings appeared standing above Samuel.
One had brown flesh with chattering teeth. The second had white flesh with the openings of its face stitched closed and the third had a full grid of needles in its head. From the corners of the room hooked chains appeared and clawed into every part of Samuel’s body. It was in this moment of agony that Samuel now regretted opening the box. “Please no!” Samuel cried out. “I didn’t know what I was doing.” “What you don’t know…will tear your soul apart” the Pinheaded being remarked. “Welcome to your hell, Samuel”. “NOOOO!” Samuel screamed as his flesh was ripped apart.

Oh wow, a little gruesome. Maybe adding a content warning would be beneficial for some people. It worked and was okay for me because the imagery was so compelling, I was hooked! Very great descriptions of the three characters. Thank you for sharing!!!
