Barbie and Ken went on a date together at the Fringe Festival Silent Disco. They bought the ticket two months ago. The tickets was fifty dollars each, it came with refreshments.

Barbie was kind of upset with Ken but they already bought the tickets to the Silent Disco. It was Saturday night and it was already pre plan that Ken was to pick Barbie up at her townhouse.

Ken stop the car in front of Barbie’s townhouse and went to her door to ring the doorbell. Barbie open the door on the third ring. Ken, stared in awe at Barbie’s beauty. No words were spoken between the two.

Ken held the passager door for Barbie. Barbie got in and put her seat belt on . They both drove to the Silent Disco in silence.

When they enter the Silent Disco, they were given a set of ear buds. They went to the dance 🪩 floor and started to dance to the songs that were playing in their ears. Barbie had the song, FloRida (Apple Bottom Jeans, Low) playing .

Atlantic Records, Low by FloRide

Ken had a Michael Jackson, Bad playing. Ken and Barbie were smiling at each other because their movement did not matched the song they were listening to. It look funny watching each other dance to a different beat to what they were listening to.

Barbie touched Ken arm and touch her throat to let him know she was thirsty and ready for a drink. Ken guided Barbie to the refreshments bar.

Ken was familiar to what Barbie like to drink and so he handed her a drink.

Barbie took a sip of strawberry daiquiri. Ken had his Island Ice tea. They both stare at the dance floor in silent while drinking . It was weird watching everyone dancing in silence.

They went back to the dance floor. They dance the night away without talking to each other. After the party, Ken drop Barbie home without a single word was spoken between them.

I hope you enjoy my story to the Vocal Challenge, Unspoken.
