Lamadjo is a popular pizza-like street food, The dough is prepared with semolina dough and rolled into a disc. It is spread with ground beef or lamb, chili, onions, and seasonings and baked.

Austria
Kasekrainer are sausages filled with chunks of cheese. The sausages consist of a mixture of beef, pork, and spices. Pieces of Swiss Emmental cheese are mixed in and the sausages are stuffed in casings. They are smoked over applewood.

Belgium
Frikandel is a snack made with unique, skinless, deep-fried sausages. The meat used is usually pork but chicken can also be used.

Liege waffles are chewy treats made with thick, brioche-like dough sweetened with pearl sugar. They are baked in specially designed waffle pans. They can be served with melted chocolate, powdered sugar, whipped cream, or fruit.

Bosnia and Hercogovina
Burek consists of layered phyllo dough filled with various ingredients. It can be filled with ground beef, cottage cheese, spinach, or potatoes. The dough is filled and rolled into a snail-like shape and baked. When golden it is cut into quarters.

Bulgaria
Kashkaval pane is Bulgarian fried cheese. Yellow kashkaval cheese is breaded and fried.

Croatia
Fritule are traditional sweet, round fritters. They are made with yeasted dough that consists of eggs, flour, milk, butter, and sugar. These fritters can include raisins, grated apples, yogurt, and baking powder. The secret ingredient is brandy but rum, local fruit liquors, or strong spirits can also be used.

Cyprus
Sheftalia are traditional Cypriot sausages. The sausages are made with minced pork, lamb, chopped red onions, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and parsley mixed together and wrapped into a thin, membrane. The membrane comes from the stomach lining of cows, sheep, and pigs. The sausages are cooked until crispy and caramelized on the exterior but juicy and tender inside.

Czech Republic
Parek v rohliku is a dish consisting of small parek sausages in bread rolls. The sausages are cooked and placed inside a hollow bread roll with ketchup or mustard.

Denmark
Rod polser is a popular fast food. Traditional Danish sausage is served on a bun. It is made with pure pork.

England
Fish and chips are a traditional British dish. It consists of fried cod filets and sliced fried potatoes. Cod filet pieces are dipped into a batter of eggs, flour, and milk, then fried in hot oil. Haddock can also be used.

Cornish pasty is a popular snack originating in Cornwall. The pasties is shaped in half-moons filled with ground beef, root vegetables, and seasonings. It is baked golden brown. The fillings can include diced beef, potatoes, turnips, onions, and seasonings.

France
Pain aux raisins are spiral-shaped pastries. These are made with leavened buttery dough, raisins, and crème patisserie. The dough is filled and spiral-shaped and baked golden brown.

Germany
Fischbrotchen is a fish sandwich usually consumed in Northern Germany. Fish is placed on a bread bun with pickles, remoulade, onions, lettuce, and horseradish. The fish can be herring, sprats, salmon, or mackerel.

Traditional Bavarian pretzels are shaped to symbolize two arms folded in prayer. They are sold in different versions and sizes. The crust is dark brown and shiny. They are sprinkled with coarse salt.

Greece
Koulouri Thessalonikis is a traditional Greek street food. These are made with wheat flour dough shaped into a ring, coated with sesame seeds, and baked.

Hungary
Langos is a deep-fried specialty. The dough consists of water, flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Then it is baked until golden and topped with a variety of ingredients like sausage and grated cheese.

Italy
Fritelle di baccala are traditional Italian fritters. They are prepared with salt cod and leavened batter seasoned with parsley. The salt cod is soaked in milk or water, then flaked, and mixed into the batter. The fritters are fried in hot oil until golden and crisp.

Scaccia is a dish that originated in Ragusa province in Sicily. Flatbread is stuffed with sauce, sausage, cheese, and other kinds of ingredients. When prepared the dough is thinly rolled and layered with different kinds of ingredients which can vary. Then it is baked.

Maritozzi are traditional Italian sweet buns that originated in ancient Rome. Sweet buns are baked, sliced in half, and stuffed with whipped cream.

Netherlands
Saucijzenbrodljes are a Dutch dish consisting of meat rolls wrapped in puff pastry. The rolls are prepared with ground beef flavored with nutmeg and black pepper. They are shaped into little logs, wrapped in pastry, and baked.

Kapsalon is a popular street food. French fries are topped with meat like shawarma or kebab, various kinds of cheese, and different sauces usually garlic sauce.

Oliebol is a traditional Dutch and Belgian snack. The dough is deep-fried in hot oil The dough consists of flour, eggs, yeast, milk, and baking powder. The exterior is crunchy and the interior is soft and chewy, The fritters are sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Poland
Rurki z kremem is a sweet specialty. Thin pastry is filled with pastry cream or whipped cream to make a cream roll.

Portugal
Grilled sardines are particularly popular during the summer months. The sardines are marinated with olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. They are grilled over a charcoal fire.

Bolas de Berlim are Portuguese donuts that are sliced in half and filled with sweet, creamy egg-based custard.

Serbia
Burek sa sirom consists of phyllo pastry that is coil-shaped or round and filled with cheese and eggs. The dough is prepared with flour, salt, and water and stretched into translucent sheets. Each sheet is sprinkled with oil and spread with the cheese and egg filling. Then they’re baked and cut into quarters.

Pljeskavica is a national dish also known as the Serbian hamburger. Minced beef, pork, veal, or a combination of all three is mixed with paprika, salt, pepper, onions, and garlic. Then shaped into flat patties and grilled on both sides.

Spain
Rabas is a dish made with fried squid and originated as part of seafood tapas on the Cantabrian coast. It is prepared with sliced squid strips lightly battered and fried.

Leche frita is a delectable Spanish dessert. It consists of a sweet, firm, milk pudding in a crunchy fried shell made with eggs and flour. The pudding is prepared with flour, milk, sugar, eggs, cornstarch, butter, and olive oil.
