Why Food Prices Keep Going up - Mile 12 Market Leader Explains
Panla fish is now N11,000, it used to be N7,500. A bag of garri now costs N26,000. It is not news that food prices have dramatically increased all over the nation. Still for a lot of us, the civilians buying these foods, we have no idea WHY this price increase is happening.

Wading Through Various Grill Features
When looking into different grills features, you may be faced with what seems like a foreign language. How are you suppose to pick the grill that is best for you if you do not understand what you are reading? While the language used when describing grills will not get any easier to read, understanding the majority of what it means will help you make an informed decision.

Next Whiskey Bar - Lisle, IL
Lisle, IL is one of the last ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ small towns outside of Chicago, but it is definitely a big-time spot for food. Out of all of the great eats in this town, the one I always make THE destination for visiting friends and family, or when I need a pick-me-up is Next Whiskey Bar located on Main St. in the downtown district.

Two Places(an old STL throwback article)
I do remember those days, back in my Childhood When you’d take me after a long day at Meramac Springs, and the whole truck would smell like bait, fish(all the trout we caught) and coins(you’d always have mountains of coins in your truck)...

How To Make All Restaurants Safer for Employees
Asking the Right Questions I have worked in many different restaurants. One day, I had become tired and annoyed about how the business I was in charge of was being run. I came to terms with this simple truth. I did the same thing day in and day out. I had mastered all the different stations, completing tasks at speeds that can only be considered superhuman, wearing my body down. I started doing things like flipping cups around and catching them to entertain myself. I created a better way to stuff French-fry boxes and learned to handle fry baskets one-handed. Even these gave way to boredom and my mind once again started to wander. My mind was always struggling to find the next new thing. I began to look around my job, and my brain commenced to ask questions, “How do I stop stray lids from falling back behind the drink station? How do I keep napkins, straws, and stray cups from being kicked under the counter?"

Things I'm Passionate About Part 13
Part 13 of things I’m passionate about. 1. Gum I love gum. Straight up, it’s good for helping with an oral fixation, like the kind you can get from smoking or habitual eating. Whether that be boredom eating, emotional eating, or whatever. It can also change your mood depending on the taste or smells it evokes. I know some people think that that’s related to things like aroma therapy which a lot of people think is hokum, but certain flavors of gum, like with teas can help change my mood, and even if it’s psychosomatic, isn’t that kind of the point? I love the taste, I love using it as a way to help stave off my overeating habits, there’s some studies that point out that chewing primes your digestive enzymes and so having no food go in after chewing could mess with your hormones, but I’ll have to do more research on that. I’m going to be writing about the science of gum chewing and the origins and manufacture of gum itself, but also reviews on all the different types of gum I try and enjoy.

THE PAIR THAT PLEASES EVERYONE
I could remember when I had my first cup of coffee. I was about fourteen or fifteen when my mom let me try it. I tried the coffee and I liked it right away! Ever since then I drink coffee with cream and sugar. There was one time in my life I was drinking coffee black with sugar. I drank this kind of coffee for a year. I started having stomach problems, I found out it was because I was not putting cream in the coffee! I went back to putting cream in the coffee when I did my stomach problems went away. I am a senior now and I drink coffee and I love to have it with Pie or Cake. Coffee goes together with these two deserts great! It doesn't matter what kind of Pie or Cake it is coffee goes great with them. I like having coffee in the morning and, I like having it with Pie or Cake. Donuts are great to have with coffee too! It was the way I was brought up, my Dad liked to have Cake or Pie with his morning coffee. To this day that is what I love to have in the morning.

A Sweet, Heavenly Present
Chocolate and hazelnut. Together, they’re an ethereal combination. These flavors give your taste buds the right amounts of sweet, decadence, nuttiness, and crunchiness that makes you want to crave for more. What’s even heavenly, is when these two ingredients are encapsulated in a spherical wafer that’s covered with even more chocolate and bits of hazelnut, putting all other confections to shame. Do you know what I’m talking about? It’s pretty easy to guess. In fact, they’re usually wrapped in its signature golden celestial wrapper, nestled in its divine liner. Still don’t know what it is? Then close your eyes and imagine angels whispering this sweet name to your ear, Ferrero Rocher.
