Everyone loves a good, healthy shake from time to time. I enjoy it when I know it has been made with good ingredients and has protein powder that will not give me heartburn or bloating.
Is protein powder just for bodybuilders?
NO! A long time ago, protein powder was known for bulking up muscles. And yes, some protein powders are just for that. But other kinds can help your energy levels, build some muscles, and help maintain healthy skin, hair, and nails. Plus, it can help support digestive health with its fiber-rich ingredients.
What Protein Powder to buy?
When I went looking for protein powder, I wanted to be sure that it wasn’t made with many ingredients so that if I had problems with it, I could figure out which of the ingredients might have bothered me.
I would like to say that I read about many different kinds of protein powers and finally chose the brand Truvani, but that’s not the case. It was an excellent health food store that I went to. After explaining my needs, the shop owner mentioned Truvani.
Truvani Protein Power is made with minimal additives and five plant-based ingredients: pea protein, pumpkin seed protein, chia seed protein, and monk fruit extract.
The powder comes in many flavors, but I purchased the Vanilla one as it works with my recipe needs. It has chocolate, peanut butter, banana cinnamon, peanut butter spice, lemon cookies, and many more.
You should research to find what protein powder will fit your needs, as everyone has different dietary restrictions.
When to have a protein shake?
Well, that depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking to have a quick meal on the run? Do you have a craving for something sweet? Or are you trying to find a way to add a punch of nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, and protein? Or did you just have a great workout and need something to boost your recovery and support muscle development?
Well, those are some reasons you should think about adding a protein shake to your meal plan.
Below are my recipes with additional options you may want to add.

Oooo, my friend might like this since he's working on losing weight and bodybuilding! I'll send this to him!
Love the recipes! I should try them as I'm recovering from an eating disorder. I took a screenshot of the ingredients section for it.
These look delicious! Will try the blueberry first, as my hubby is looking for good blueberry meals.
Your recipe are mouthwatering. 🥰
Great recipes. They seem easy enough.
What a great thing to share. I do drink protein shakes, and vanilla is my favorite. Next best is banana followed by strawberry then peanut butter then all the rest. Good work.
This was great - I'm always put off protein shakes thinking they'll taste gross, but your recipes look fab.
