Dutch Bros Coffee Grand Opening: Blue Diamond Location in Las Vegas
Did someone say free coffee? After hearing that the new location of Dutch Bros Coffee in Las Vegas was giving away free 16 ounces drinks as a part of their grand opening I decided to head on over. I wouldn't say I had low expectations, but often times when a business is giving away anything for free it can be a bit of a chaotic experience. My experience was anything but. I don't live especially close to any Dutch Bros locations, but I will make a point to visit more often from now on.

The Bronx Vegan Eats: Vegan Chopped Cheese. Top Story - August 2018.
Every city has its dish. Philly has its cheesesteaks. Chicago has its deep dish pizza. The Bronx, Harlem, and Queens have the beautiful, greasy sandwich that is chopped cheese. It’s the pièce de résistance of any bodega you walk into and the perfect meal to satisfy your hunger. Its composition is similar to a cheesesteak: delicious meat chopped up and cooked with peppers, topped with cheese, and dressed with typical sandwich toppings like lettuce, tomato, and mayo.

The Scott’s Porage Oats Man and I
As I settled down to my hearty bowl of porridge the other morning, my eyes strayed casually to the cereal box in front of me. As I fixed my gaze once again upon his taught torso, I experienced the sudden realisation that the The Scott's Porage Oats Man and I, actually go back a very, very long way.

Goya Goes Vegan
While perusing my local supermarket, I always keep a lookout for new vegan-friendly products. A surprising realization was seeing a can of refried beans from Goya with a "vegan" label on the front. To begin with, it’s not very often that I see the word “vegan” being displayed in my supermarket so this discovery was a pleasant one!

Vurger Central: The Ultimate Aubergine Burger
There is a documentary out there titled Carnage, and believe me, it has teeth, dripping with beet juice. Long story short —it did it for milk, butter and eggs. That's it. I was done. I don't advise you go cold... tofurkey instantly, but I did. Ultimately, this meant the base of my diet, the diet I'd had for 26 years, went out the window literally overnight.

I Can't Stop Thinking About You at 2 AM
What's the point of sleeping if all I'm going to do is think about you? I lay in my bed and think about all of the things that could have been, but weren't. The memories of us replay over and over in my head, pushing out thoughts of anything else. When I try to get away from you because I know it's best for me, you keep showing up everywhere. My friends still love you, and my parents keep asking about you. I can't go on social media for one day without seeing something about you, and it's like there is no escape. Everyone tells me that "It's OK to get back together once in a while," but I can't handle the constant hello's and goodbyes. When I crawl back to you thinking that I'm strong enough not to become attached again, it's even more difficult to step back, and it tears my heart apart.

#TABLEDANCE Dessert: Honey Butter Cake
I've had a sweet tooth since I was a little girl. I remember spending weekends smelling my mother's golden cakes baking in the oven. She would precisely decorate her golden cakes with homemade light and fluffy icing. My mother use to dress her golden cakes with custom icing that complement the sweetness of her cake batter and deep to explore in taste.
