Alabama

If you’re in Alabama, head for Vicki’s Lunch Van in Montgomery. You’ll be served up a delicious four, six, or eight-ounce patty. You can have toppings of your choice like mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and cheese. Pair it with either fried or chips.

A popular burger is the Gunter Pile which is a six-ounce burger topped by crispy grilled onions, gravy and cheese served over a bed of fries.

If you just got off a plane at Anchorage International Airport in Alaska and you’re hungry, flag down a cab to the nearby neighborhood of Spenard.

At Tommy’s Burger Stop, you can get a Cajun-seasoned burger that includes USDA-grade beef from Australia. Your burger will come served on a toasted potato bun with crisp lettuce, sliced tomatoes, mayo, onions, and pickles. The best thing here is that you can choose from over ten kinds of burgers.

In Scottsdale, Arizona at the beach-themed restaurant Rehab Burger Therapy you can get fantastic burgers you just can’t pass up on. All the burgers include five or 10-ounce custom blend ground sirloin, brisket, and USDA chuck patties.

You can get the Spicy Mac-N-Cheese Burger with green chilies, bacon, poblano peppers, and jalapenos. If you don’t want too much spice, there is the PBJ&Bacon Burger that comes topped with peanut butter, grape jelly, bacon, and sriracha sauce.

Big Orange is the place to go when in Arkansas which has three locations, two in Little Rock. You can choose from four patty options – Black Angus beef, half beef and half veggies, turkey, or veggie.

Their signature burger is the White Truffel and Pecorino Burger with pecorino cheese, arugula, fig jam, white truffle, and garlic mayo.

In Pasadena, California, the Pie n’ Burger has been around since the 1960s. They make a fantastic thin patty topped with Thousand Island dressings, iceberg lettuce, and melted cheese.

It is best accompanied by fries and a milkshake.

The Cherry Cricket has two locations in Denver, Colorado, and has been the place for burgers since 1945.

First, you choose your burger patty and then decide on the toppings like the popular mac and cheese.

Louis’ Lunch has been serving burgers in New Haven, Connecticut, since 1895. The juicy burgers are done up on the original cast-iron grills.

They’re topped with melted cheese, tomato slices, and grilled onions on white toast.

A place for some really creative burgers in Wilmington, Delaware, is the Farmer & the Cow. The beef patties are a blend of chuck, brisket, and filet. If you arrive for breakfast, you can enjoy the Morning Glory featuring bacon, scrapple, maple, Swiss cheese, and a fried egg on your burger.

Then you can take your time looking over what other burgers they offer.

MEAT Eatery & Tap Room in Islamorada and Boca Raton, Florida. brands the word “meat” into each bun.

They serve up single or double burgers like the Nancy Pants with Cheese. The burger comes with a five-ounce Angus beef patty, American cheese, lettuce, and tomato.

In Dunwoody, Georgia, in a Chevron gas station, NFA Burger has been serving burgers since 2019.

The juicy burgers come with Angus beef patties and are topped with pickles, mustard, a secret house “sassy sauce,” and cheese. They’re served on a soft Martin’s roll.

In Honolulu, Hawaii, the place for burgers is W & M Bar-B-Q, serving the best since 1940. The juicy patties are basted with a secret, tangy barbecue sauce. Have the signature Royal Hamburger that is topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese.

Their best sides include the Crab Macaroni Salad with real crab meat, macaroni, potatoes, and peas.

For great burgers in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the place is Hudson’s Hamburgers.

You get juicy burgers with thinly sliced onions, pickles, American cheese, and the option of homemade hot sauce.

Au Cheval in Chicago, Illinois, serves up fantastic burgers. Their “single” cheeseburger has two patties, and their “double” has three.

You can get a burger topped with bacon, egg, onions, pickles, and Dijonnaise.

It’s easy to find a great burger in Indiana since the Bru Burger Bar has nine locations. Their burgers come with patties that are a mix of sirloin, chuck, and brisket.

There are all kinds of creative burgers like the Garlic Three-Cheese with Swiss, American, mozzarella, roasted garlic, and truffle aioli.

The best place to get a burger in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is the BurgerFiend. You can choose from single, double, triple, or quad burgers with patties made of USDA choice Angus beef.

For toppings, you can pile on sauces, veggies, and cheese.

The Cozy Inn in downtown Salina, Kansas, has been serving burgers since 1922. The one-ounce patties are grilled with onions and served on custom-baked rolls.

You can top them with ketchup, mustard, and pickles, but these are classic sliders, and there is no cheese or fries available.

You can enjoy fifteen different kinds of burgers at the Mussel & Burger Bar in Louisville, Kentucky.

All the patties are made with Black Angus beef. Have a Southern Bell that is topped with pimento cheese, remoulade sauce, and fried green tomatoes.
