U.S. Government Posts Budget Surplus in June, What It Means.
Understanding the Surplus According to the Treasury Department’s Monthly Treasury Statement released in July, the government ran a budget surplus of approximately $65 billion in June 2025, compared to a deficit of about $228 billion in May. In the same month last year, June 2024, the government also posted a surplus of around $76 billion. This pattern of surpluses in June is typical, as it coincides with quarterly corporate tax payments and other tax collections that swell revenues temporarily.

Why water is the Most Amazing Molecule on Earth
water is one of the most common substances on Earth _ yet it's also one of the most extraordinary. Found in oceans, rivers, clouds, and even our bodies, water is essential for life. But what make this simple Molecule so powerful and unique? Let's explore why H2O is not just vital but truly amazing. "A simple Molecule with a unique shape". Water is made of just two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, forming the familiar formula H2O. However, the molecules isn't straight _ it's bent . This "V" shape creates a polar molecule, where one end is slightly negative and the other slightly positive. This polarity causes water molecules to attract each other through hydrogen bonds, giving water many of it's strange and life_saving properties. "Nature's Best Solvent". Water is known as the "universal solvent" because it can dissolve more substances than any other liquid. Its polarity allows it to surround and separate ions or molecules, making it essential for processes like digestion, plant growth, and chemical reactions in our cells. Without water's dissolving power, life would not be possible. "Ice Floats _and That's a Miracle". Unlike most substances, water expands when it freezes. This makes ice less dense than liquid water , so it floats. Why is this important? If ice sank , lakes and ocean would freeze from the bottom up , killing marine life. Floating ice insulates the water below, protecting life during cold season. "Water Moderate Temperature". Water has a high specific heat capacity, which means it can absorb a lot of heat before it changes temperature. This allows water to act as a temperature regulator for both the Earth and the human body. Coastal regions have milder climates because of nearby water bodies, and our bodies stay cool through sweating and water circulation. "We Are Mostly Water". Human beings are made up of about 60/ water . Every part of our body _ from blood to brain cells _ needs water to function. Water helps in digestion, circulation, temperature regulation, and water removal. Even a small drop in hydration can affect mood , energy, and thinking. "Surface Tension and Capillary Action". Water's hydrogen bonds create surface tension, which allows water to form droplets and even support small insects walking on its surface. This same force helps pull water upward in plants, from root to leaves, through Capillary Action. It's one of nature's simplest yet most effective systems. "Water Shapes the planet". Water has craved out canyons, eroded mountains, formed valleys, and shaped coastlines. Through its powerful flow, freezing, and thawing, water continually transforms the Earth's surface. It also brings minerals and nutrients to soil, creating fertile land and supporting agriculture. "Conclusion: Nature Perfect Molecule". Through water is chemically simple, it's behavior is anything but. From floating ice to dissolving minerals, from moderating climate to powering life _ water's science is simple but powerful. Every drop is a reminder of nature's incredible design. The next time you see water, think beyond the surface _ you're looking at the most amazing molecule on Earth. "Water is the Universe". Scientist searching for life on other planets look first for signs of water. That's because, so far , life as we know it cannot exist without it . Mars, Europe ( a moon of Jupiter) ,and Enceladus ( a moon of Saturn ) have all shown signs of water, making them key targets in the search for extraterrestrial life. The presence of Water means the possibility of life _ proving again how central this molecule is in the grand design of nature. From comets to craters, hydrogen and oxygen form H2O, creating, oceans , clouds, and ice Caps. Astronomers search for water vapor to find signs of life beyond our solar system.

The Rise of Fake News on Social Media and Its Alarming Impact By Abu Hasnan In the age of instant information, social media has become both a powerful communication tool and a breeding ground for misinformation. Recently, a video began circulating across various platforms showing Rescue 1122 personnel pulling a man out of a river. At first glance, it appeared to be a heroic act of emergency response. However, within hours, the video attracted waves of criticism from social media users, journalists, and political activists.
