My HolyGhost baptism experience

I remember when I first got baptized in the HolyGhost.

Guess what, nothing dramatic happened to me.

I was expecting that I'd burst out in tongues, or shake uncontrollably and fall on the ground rolling and breaking chairs.

But no, infact when the HolyGhost came, I did not even realize it was him.

I kept attending revival prayer meetings because I wasn't convinced that I had been baptized the first time I was prayed for, for the HolyGhost baptism.

Men of God would lay their hands on me, blow me breeze. Some would push, or ask me to rotate and jump just to free myself and allow the HolyGhost move in me.

Lol.

This is probably where many of you are currently. You have tried and tried, and it seems nothing is happening.

Soon after all my search for the HolyGhost baptism, I got tired.

I just decided to stay on my own and pray and see what happens.

I began to study the book of Acts of the Apostles.

That was the first book of the bible I read from start to finish, then in secondary school.

As I read, Kai.. I was moved in my spirit.

I went to God in prayers and said...

"if this thing I read is true, then prove it in my life."

I saw strange manifestations, miracles, healings and various dimensions of God in the Bible and I wanted to walk in them too.

So, I embarked on a three days fast for the first time on my own, and prayed by 12am every night for those three days.

After the prayers on the third day, I attended a prayer meeting there in school which usually held every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Friends, when I joined the prayer and held hands with them.

You won't believe what happened

My eyes were closed, but the next thing I heard was loud shouts and the sound of people falling.

I opened my eyes, I was scared by what I saw. I was like, what's going on?

All of them were on the ground, some shaking uncontrollably, some were screaming, some were manifesting and demons leaving them.

At that moment, it never crossed my mind that all these happened because I held hands with them.

I was still there wondering why I was the only one standing and not feeling anything.
Lol.

Untill it began to make sense to me, that I was carrying something.

Something extraordinary.

I was supercharged in the HolyGhost. These people plugged in to high tension when they held my hands and it electrocuted them.

But how come I did not feel anything myself?

How come these things were happening even when I was not the one leading prayers?

Hmm...

It dawned on me that it was the HolyGhost. The same HolyGhost I read about in the scriptures. Kaya!

The HolyGhost had been there all this while since that first day I was prayed for to receive Him.

But I did not believe he was there because I was waiting for strange manifestations to happen in my own life.

My friends, many of you have received the HolyGhost already but have not realized it because you did not break chairs when they prayed for you.

Just like me, I did not speak in tongues on that first day that I received the HolyGhost.

Infact, it took me weeks before I began to speak in tongues.

And I began to speak in tongues while I was praying privately, not even during a corporate prayer meeting.

Do you know, that since that day, after that experience, I began to notice strange things happening in my life?

I prayed over a handkerchief, and it was taken to our school clinic, all the sick people got healed and came out.

I shake hands with people in greeting and they are healed.

I used my shadow to deliver demoniacs.

Used water, breeze, anything.. name it.

This thing we teach is real!

I am saying all these to let you know, that you don't have to feel it to prove it!

Out faith is not based on feelings but on God's Word which does not change.

Many of us miss it because we are waiting for a feeling or a manifestation in our life.

If you live your life on feelings, you will crash. Because feelings are unstable.

But God's Word will never change.

You can't trust your feelings, but you can always trust God's Word.

The HolyGhost is not limited in expressions.

But when He comes, you will know, only that you may not recognize it because you were expecting him to descend upon you with fire.

The only thing I felt that day when I was prayed for was a cool sensation moving from my head down to my leg.

That was it, nothing else.

I just knew that something had happened to me, but I did not recognize that it was the HolyGhost.

For some persons, it is a burning sensation, for some others it is shedding of tears, some even do not feel anything tangible.

Don't limit the HolyGhost!

I encourage you my friends, choose to believe God's Word over your feelings.

When you pray, believe that you have received and you will manifest as you continue to walk with God.

Stop following men of God around everytime and start digging into God to know him for yourself.

You will be amazed what God will bring out from your life that you never realized was there all along.

I am not saying that it is bad for people to manifest when they receive the HolyGhost. I am simply saying that, it is not like that for everybody.
