How Dinosaurs Could Have Evolved If They Never Went Extinct
Dinosaurs, those fascinating creatures that once roamed the Earth, have captured our imagination for decades. It is a pity that we cannot witness the spectacle of Jurassic Park, where we can observe some of the coolest creatures in action. Nevertheless, we still live among ancient creatures such as crocodiles and sharks that have not evolved much since they appeared millions of years ago. Unfortunately, most dinosaurs could not survive when an asteroid struck the Earth, causing a giant reset button to the planet. This space traveler wiped out almost every living thing on Earth. The sky was filled with ash, which blocked out sun rays, and this led to a reduction in plant growth, causing herbivores to become very hungry. As a result, they had to change their diet and adapt to new conditions. Some of these dinosaurs ended up taking a new path in life, turning into some of the modern animals we know today.

While hundreds of space rocks fall through our atmosphere every year, most are small enough to burn up on entry, so there is little noticeable impact. However, throughout Earth's history, there have been several large strikes, and NASA has been conducting tests to see how prepared we are. Unfortunately, the results show that we are not ready. NASA estimates that every day, more than a hundred tons of dust and small particles fall to the Earth. On average, a car-sized object enters the atmosphere once a year and burns up, creating a fireball that streaks across the sky. Objects as large as a football field collide with Earth once every two thousand years, while a potential extinction-level collision is expected to happen every few million years.

There is an obvious crater in the landscape in Mexico, but what catches the attention of investigators is what's inside the crater. This white patch, which looks like ice, is unusual as it remains present all year round in Mexico. The mystery white crater is part of a cluster known as the seven luminaries, which, when viewed from above, mirrors the Ursa Major constellation.
