Life is inextricably linked to water.

Life is inextricably linked to water. Approximately two-thirds of the body of every living creature on Earth is composed of water. All creatures need water for growth and reproduction. In this article, we will discuss some of the properties of water and its importance to living organisms.
Three Forms of Water:
Water has different forms. For example, when the temperature drops, water transforms from a liquid state to a solid state, which we know as snow or ice crystals. When the temperature reaches above zero, water transforms from a solid state to a liquid state. Because water has three forms, the third form is the gaseous state, which is when water turns into vapor. Try putting water in a pot, then lighting a fire, then adding a piece of ice. You will notice that the ice begins to turn into water, and then the water begins to evaporate until the water is gone.
Water molecules are cohesive:
Water's polarity allows it to bond with other polar molecules. This attraction to polar substances is called cohesion. Water can bond with any substance that can be hydrogen-bonded with water. This explains why substances containing polar molecules become wet when immersed in water. Substances that do not contain non-polar molecules, such as oil, do not bond with water.
The Importance of Water to Humans:
Water is known to be one of the most important sources of life for living organisms. Water has many uses. For example, we use it as a resource without which we cannot live. We use it to grow crops, as we rely on food to provide us with the energy we need. We also use water as an economic resource. It contributes to humidifying the air temperature. Drinking water plays a major role in eliminating toxins and impurities from the body through urine and sweat. Some organs responsible for processing toxins, such as the kidneys and liver, also use water to help them perform their functions. Source:

The Importance of Water for Plants:
No plant will grow without water. Plants use water for growth and reproduction. Plants need water to obtain sufficient oxygen and to transport nutrients from the soil to the plant. Water carries dissolved sugars and other nutrients to the plant to maintain its healthy structure. Water travels through the xylem tissue, which resembles capillaries. Water also helps maintain the plant's temperature by drawing more water in, replacing the water that evaporates.
The Importance of Water for Animals:
Water in the animal body regulates body temperature, preventing it from rising too high and keeping it within a specific range.
Water in an animal's body is also important for balancing the body's pH, bringing it closer to neutral. This reduces the occurrence of chemical reactions that could be harmful to the animal's health. The pH in an animal's body can negatively impact many important elements, such as calcium, which is a major component of the body's mineral.
Other Benefits of Water for Animals:
There are many other benefits of water for animal bodies, including:
Producing energy that nourishes the body through the process of hydrolysis.
Aiding in food digestion.
Maintaining and preventing erosion of the animal's joints.
