Ice Water
Water disobeys the Particle Theory of Matter; rather than contracting when cold, water expands. For complicated reasons, the molecules spread out instead of huddling together despite the fact they are indeed in a crystalline lattice and vibrating in a solid state. Yes, that means that frozen water is a mineral. Anyway, the PToM, as it pertains to water was one of my favourite topics to explain when I taught children because it sets the perfect example of how much life, like people, frequently refuses to follow the common rules of engagement.

Energy & Creation
I have something inside of me that can't wait to come out... It's boiling and at the same time patiently fabricating or should I say growing stronger and stronger. Now this thing is huge I can feel it because it's all over my body. I would like to call it a volcano but no, it is not a volcano for the volcano destroy things once unleashed. I'm so I thought maybe water but even when water that much more an essence to human can cause damage. I think then, it is more like an energy of creation. You know, like a women experience when she is pregnant. But in my case this energy of creation is waiting a building up. Now how do I feel through this cycle? Well, think of the women whom in fact would be the transportation or the delivery of the greatest creation on earth. Not the women have not experience that before or who do not yet know that 9 months is only phase one of her creation, nor the woman who may think that 18 years will release her from all emotional attachment to her delivery. I think it is more like the woman who surely knows that this creation of hers is a lifetime duty, even could be beyond lifetime, who knows? However, this she must prepare not only for 9 months nor 18 years but for a lifetime commitment.

The Mathematics of Nature's Beauty
Everything is mathematics. It’s not just found in a textbook, or on a chalk board. It’s not limited to calculating your coupon savings at a grocery store, or even to the deeply complex world of quantum mechanics. Everything is mathematics… The universe, and everything in it is mathematics. The body that you live in everyday, the consciousness that lives in your mind, even the etheric soul that drives you, it’s all mathematics. Nature is nothing but numbers. And they are beautiful!

"Not Your Average Job"
I love my job because, at the end of each day, I know I’m still alive. And that puts all other jobs to shame. When an average person gets up to go to work, they lay out their clothes, maybe take a shower and spend some time in front of the mirror, have a bowl of cereal alongside toast and juice, gather the items they’ll need for work, and kiss their family goodbye.

Saving the Seas with a Broom and Dustpan!
I work at an aquarium. A non-profit staffed with fabulous educators, amazing sea turtle rehabilitators, and an awesome conservation team that is saving wetlands. My department is Environmental Services (ES) Which is a fancy way of saying I'm a janitor. I’m well aware of the stereotypes of jobs like mine, they’re not always wrong. It is a fair amount of physical labor. I do have to clean up disgusting things. And like any other public service job, guests can be frustrating and do annoying things such as: flushing diapers causing the restroom to flood, staying fifteen to thirty minutes after closing forcing me to get off late, and mixing trash and recycling. But in all truth this is the best job I’ve ever had!

Saving the Corals Is Important Work
There are many ways to “work” in this world. When most think of what it means to work, it is perhaps most common to think of the ‘traditional’ 9-5. This is tied to the concept of a earning a livelihood through work. The Oxford English Dictionary defines work as, “to do something that involves physical or mental effort, especially as part of a job”. The very definition implies carrying out work in a transactional sense. Perform work to receive a paycheck.

Mount Nyiragongo recently erupted, and here's why it's one of Africa's most deadly Volcanos.
Mount Nyiragongo is never quiet. A constant lake of lava boiling within the summit crater of the high volcano in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is one of the few places on the planet.

The Wonders of the World
My clients are among the most difficult to please. No matter what I do or say, no matter how many exhausting hours I work doing their bidding, thanks and praise are in short supply. This is especially true when they first come to me, they are the most needy then. It takes a great deal of time and effort working with them to figure out their wants and desires and how best to help them. They have no value for my personal life and privacy and tend to complain about their situation at all hours of the day and night. It’s a difficult learning curve, but eventually I come to understand their personality and what helps them the most and in turn they come to understand my boundaries. Work becomes a little easier, though each client will at times try to test those boundaries again or will come to me with unrealistic requests that can never be met. Of course they always moan when I inform them their request can not happen or is too dangerous or difficult to achieve. Oh the complaints that come in and the cries to fire me and find someone else who is far better than I.
