Chrysalis: Once the caterpillar reaches its full size, it forms a chrysalis around itself. Inside the chrysalis, the caterpillar undergoes a remarkable transformation, turning into a butterfly. This process typically takes a few weeks.

Courtship and Mating: Male butterflies often use dazzling displays of color and flight patterns to attract females. Mating takes place in mid-air, and females lay their eggs on appropriate host plants.
Ecological Significance:
Butterflies play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of ecosystems and are integral to the process of pollination. As they visit flowers in search of nectar, they inadvertently transfer pollen from one flower to another, enabling the reproduction of plants.
